Used to be lovely and ordered regularly but the last time both me and my mum ordered on 2 different occasions the fish was hard dry and stale and chips were cold. Such a shame.

Despite friendly service from the team.. It saddens me they can't get chips right.. Ordered chips, five seconds later lukewarm pre cooked sat in fat chips served in a tray.. Had I had my bank card.. These would've been binned and ordered food from elsewhere..

First time i have ordered in from here and disappointed with the food. Generous sized portion of cod looked really nice, but batter was soggy and the fish did not taste fresh. The chips were also greasy and tasted as if they had been cooked in oil that was past its best. Shame as i like to try different places.

Good is good, COD father is always my first choice however they take well over an hour for delivery, and I won’t order off the app as I’ve ordered a couple of times for convenience but every time they have missed the salad off my order which is annoying cause despite the unhealthy takeaway I do actually like the salad. They argued with me about the order and what was on the receipt but I know for a fact I ordered salad so there must be something wrong with the app and when it goes through. I’d advise if you want anything customised ring up! They offered to send some salad out but I was too hungry from waiting an hour and a half to receive my food.

Disgusting food. Delivery was late by 30 minutes the chips were grey looking which worried me to the point they just got binned. The curry sauce was shoved in the bag and went everywhere. Would never order from here again.

Conveniently located in the high street and can provide home delivery. Nice staff and friendly service. This was our first time there as we wanted traditional fish and chips so menu was limited. We decided to eat in and squeezed ourselves into the bench seats and table. Food soon arrived (only one other couple present) on cold plates but food tasted good.

I want to bad the fish batter round the place was a bit dark a bit crunchy too I don't like my fish batter too crunchy if I had known had not had no gravy on it it would have been very hard to eat but I had gravy but it was in lumps as fish and chip shop doesn't know how to make gravy properly the Card Factory not many chips on the plate the cost of the fish and chips 1 large place fish as for small chips well enough chips on the plate this was it the 29/03/19 facts about the time of 12:37 p.m. and the cost of the meal was £9.10p a bit pricey not like that place called pukka fish shop on Fox Grove Estate they're large haddock a medium sized chips and a better just right not crunchy and not too Papi or weak batter are fish and chips at pukka fish shop is £5 80 p the fish and chip shop is run by Nepalese people but the fish shop at the town called the cod Factory is not bad but it could be a bit better last time I went in that used to wait on your table but now they don't I just put it on the front of the counter thank you God bless thank you

Large piece of cod, but very soggy inside, flavour of fish not as I would hoped a fresh piece would taste like, chips very poor too. Not good value for money and very disappointing.
