We really enjoyed Romanian food here. The staff and atmosphere was amazing! The dessert is the must have.

Lovely food. Waiter was friendly enough to suggest local dishes. Pork stew with sauce was amazing. The meat was very tender succulent and loads of flavours.

Went there couple of years ago, was my first experience in a Romanian restaurant and the food still haunts me. It was delicious, they used actual potato for chips and the meat was tender...will come back for a reminder!

Best restaurant in the area. Ideal for parties such a Wedding, Christening, Birthdays with the traditional food of Eastern Europe.
Strongly recommend.

First time trying Romanian food as I’ve tried quite a few cuisines and wanted to try something new.

Unfortunately it wasn’t very nice.

Arrived on time.

Let me start with the aubergine salad which I ordered after seeing photos online and from others mentioning how good it was. It was unpleasantly Smokey and was also really strong flavoured with the smoke. The Smokey flavour itself wasn’t particularly nice and I don’t think it was nice with the aubergine.

Tripe soup - if you like tripe you’ll like this as the buttery, creamy, garlicky liquid was nice and tasty but after eating half a small to medium bowl I couldn’t finish it. The tripe has a very weird texture and tastes awful, there’s no way getting around it.

The chicken schnitzel was nice, a bit in the thin and small side but not bad. Not fantastic but not bad.

The Romanian grilled meat rolls at first was nice but then after a couple the strong burnt grill marks became so overpowering I couldn’t finish it. It also had an unpleasant soft but bouncy texture. Not nice. It tasted sour also somehow Because of the burnt grill marks. Never tasted grilled meat like that before.

Cheese doughnut with jam and cream also wasn’t nice. The dough tasted unpleasant and had a raw kind of taste to it. Texture wasn’t great but not bad. Jam was ok although I’ve had better. Cream was fine. Cheese not bad. Mellow enough. Not too overpowering for the sweet desert.

French fries arrived completely soggy but were nice and tasty although looked brown and burnt. They were nice.

Bread was a roll which helped with the tripe.

Overall I knew Romanian food was unusual but honestly i won’t be ordering again.

Very welcoming, food freshly cooked and was delicious. My friends had Chicken schnitzel and pork ribs in whiskey sauce, 2 pieces of each, My pork escalope in red sauce with mushrooms was small in comparison a single piece, so maybe try to keep 'parity' between the dish sizes. However it was delicious. There was no sides mentioned on the menu to accompany the main dish, i.e. potato or vegetables/salad, so we opted for chips, they were delicious but to tempt us back they need to add some choices. We'd have liked a Romanian beer or ale but Stella or Heineken was offered with one other but I can't remember the name, but it wasn't a national drink. I hope that the management take on board my suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The ladies loo was immaculate. We felt very safe in respect of hygiene standards.

Omg please do not insult yourself. Went there tonight and should have really walked out from the start. I ordered 2 glasses of bottle of sweet red wine they went across the rd and bought a bottle . Came back with two really small glasses half filled £5 per glass .
Ordered fried wings and garlic bread as two starters. The wings were frozen from aldi or lidl , the garlic sauce was old out of a bottle £8.70. The garlic bread was 5 slices of a dinner roll with some grated cheese and a smidgen of ham as a garnish £8.50
I ask for lamb chops as my main to my. surprise the owner suggested try the Romanian meat rolls (Iceland kebab rolls) frozen and probably microwaved with soggy fries £11.80
My wife managed to get the lamb chops (probably all they had in before tried to oder them). They were OK but left an after taste 3 hrs later
My son a small size 8 ordered spaghetti they never sold a child size but gave a child size £10.80. It was so disgusting he refused point blank to eat it. I'm not exaggerating when I tasted it I spat it into the paper napkin they supplied. I was not wanting to argue or embarrass my family so I took it on the chin and asked for the bill. £75.45. I has hurt me so much it was a special night out and ended up tacky even I can plate up to at least make it look pretty. I do not know if the reviews are for the weekend and during the week they can't afford a chef . The reviews do not reflect the night we had and I feel totally robbed and worst still memories lost!! I beg you stay away
To the owners may you suffer years of drought for robbing me silly!!!
