Lovely family style restaurant with personalized touches from the chef to ensure u enjoy ur every meal.
It's housed in a 500-year old Tudor style building just at the heart of Ruislip.
Menu is diversified, nutritious and delicious. There is a Chef's special available and I think is at a reduced cost or if you want to go with the generic menu. Drinks selection is not bad either.
Parking is on the streets outside the restaurant (u have to be good at parallel parking though) or u can find a free car park just on the other side of the building. Train station nearby as well as busstop few meters from the restaurant and this guarantees a good transport network for anyone not driving.

Amazing food and service, I'd highly recommend. I came here with my Father and we had the tasting menu (some pictures attached). The food was absolutely beautiful, bursting with flavour and just the right amount. The tasting menu consists of 9 dishes, each intricately put together. My favourite was the Cauliflower soup! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, I couldn't fault the waitresses either, they were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back!

We have always liked Friends, and came to try the seasonal Christmas lunch. We had a number of dietary requests, and we were really impressed how they have adapted the menu, from the amuse bouche, and stater right through the main and dessert. No one felt left out! Food was beautifully presented and we loved the combination of flavours. A gem! Highly recommended!

The food here was wonderful, the ambiance warm and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed the whole dining experience, and, given the quality of the food, I thought prices were pretty reasonable. Highly recommended.

We expected a gastronomic experience today and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were really friendly and could not have done any more, when asked! The food was amazing and the cheese cake for desert was the best that I have ever tasted. 10/10 well done!

We were visiting the Pinner weekend market and decided to try the food at Friends, having tasted their steak at another fair earlier. The food was Michelin star quality, in both taste and presentation, which is not surprising given their head chef Bradley Walford has worked for some of the best names in the industry including Heston Blumenthal!
We started the lunch with a beautiful bread and hors d'oeuvre plate - freshly baked sourdough, a quenelle of smooth butter, mushroom arancini balls and yogurt drops with coriander on a crispy rice cracker base. We were then served a delectable starter, a Celeriac Velouté with parsley oil and crispy shallots followed by two beautifully plated mains - Lamb shoulder with artichoke and potato, Roasted sea bream with confit ratte potato & sea purslane. A fresh and tart lemon Amuse Bouche cleaned and prepared our palette for a delectable dessert of Chocolate fudge tart with peanut butter ice cream. My husband decided to sample two drinks from their cocktail menu - a Bloody Mary and a classic Cosmopolitan while I selected a Chamomile tea.
