Ambrosia restaurant

Sunday afternoon treat. Sat outside in the sunshine, food and drinks were lovely and a good portion size. Staff very welcoming. Did not feel rushed. Will be visiting again soon.

Ambrosia restaurant and bar is the best in the area. Good food. In fact excellent. Discovered in lockdown and have been attending regularly. Cocktail fantastic great barman. Food consistently good.. Small or large groups the service and attention creates a comfortable dining experience.. if you haven't already. visit Ambrosia. You will not be disappointed or have wasted your time.

'The food was delicious & the atmosphere was lively. The staff were all very kind & friendly, plus it was our first time here, so everything/everyone was great. I went with two friends & it definitely was the right place to go. 8/10 would recommend!

I can't get over how amazing the prawns were. So delicious. My second birthday meal here n very satisfied. Will so be going back. Service was good and attentive.

I got in and didn’t expect - I was right to: I sat down and opened the menu, oh my days the way my eyes had left my head after setting them upon those crazy high prices. So I just got something and prayed that it was worth it - it was not the meat was heavily unseasoned and chewy. Simple meat I couldn’t manage to cut into and swallow. In addition, they provided us with “supplementary food” which was 4 pieces of over toasted toast with alright humus and 4 olives they brought my family two of those plates so we all had one and our bellies were still empty of course, no need of bringing us a complimentary meal if it’s going to be so small. One of the waiters has such a rubbish attitude and we were even passive-aggressively told to buy dessert, which sounded awful, simple and VERY overpriced on the menu btw so we just walked out. Overall my experience was terrible and awful. I recommend you to stay as far from this place as possible - I was fooled from the 4 star rating.

I was really looking forward to this meal to celebrate my daughter birthday, but it's quickly went down hill, main course arrived before starters. Over an hour wait there after for the main. The final bill was close to £270 which I was very disappointed to pay and didn't want to make a fuss. My brother says it has a 5 star rating on Google ???? Plus their card machine didn't take Amex ???? Plus they burnt the steak when I asked for Medium..

Christmas Dinner for Golf members on the 10/12/2022 - Saturday. The food was amazing, delish, generous portion size and well-flavoured. The atmosphere was romantic, private and cosy. Service was very attentive, pleasant and helpful. Thanks so much to Maria for her great service, and for going extraordinary to make sure everyone has their food order correctly served. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous food (grilled octopus, and medium rare ribeye steak) and wonderful friendly service every time. We’ve been for birthdays, nights out and Sunday lunch and every time it’s fantastic. Highly recommend.
