Great Thai food and service. Ordered Monday evening at 7:10 and picked up at 7:45, all the food was piping hot and the servings were generous. Pricing was standard - meal for 5 including starters was around £70. If you order, I definitely recommend the salt and pepper squid starter.

I moved to the area two years ago and I swear since that time, this house has hardly ever gone a weekend without Kemp Thai on my table. Some weeks we would have it twice in one week. I absolutely was crazy about the food, I loved it. Since I have returned from holiday over the Xmas period, I find that beginning of 2022 things have gone down hill drastically. It is almost like it is a different restaurant. It was around the same time I noticed that sign on top of website saying reduced hrs due to staff shortages so I give 3 stars mainly for my great memories of what I thought was the best Thai ever, and for hopes that things get back to normal soon. Until then I will give some other places a try. Good Luck. :)

It’s hit and miss in terms of the quality of the meat in the curry. Sometimes it’s nice, other times the chicken is really chewy/grisly. The flavours of the curry are great (even a mild is spicy!). For the price, I think the quality of the meat needs to be improved.

Just ordered for the first time from this place and this is my first Google review, ever. I felt compelled to review out of principle, because I have never had such inedible food - and paying £30 for food that had to go straight in the bin does not sit well with my conscience. The rice was a hard, crunchy clump, a knife couldn’t cut through it. I am certain they reheated the sticky rice in the microwave. The chicken was over cooked with no flavour and very rubbery. The noodles were greasy and rubbery too. If this is the best Thai food in Haywards Heath, I dread to think what the others are like. I’ve had better quality food from dodgy market stalls in third world countries. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Just had a takeaway via deliveroo. £41 and it was disappointing. Chicken Pad Thai was stodgy. Salt & Pepper prawns had virtually no coating and tasted bland. The Gyoza were tasty. Chicken green curry tasty but much too runny. Sticky rice was nice but difficult to eat as it was a solidified block. Expensive for what it was so wouldn’t order again.

Excellent! Food is delicious, tastes fresh and cooked well. Crunchy vegetables. Good portion size. Love the minimum plastic approach and lovely little cardboard boxes. My friends and I have had quite a few deliveries now and this is our favourite takeaway. Thank you to the team working there.

Ordered for the first time and it was some of the best Thai food we've had in a while. Fresh-tasting ingredients, big portions, looks, smells and tastes amazing! Thoroughly recommend!

We’ve just had our first meal and we were not disappointed. We thought it was expensive but the portions were big, flavoursome, well packed in eco friendly cartons and arrived early. Highly recommended and we will definitely order from Illil again
