Oadby Chippy

We ordered last week on Just Eat it was 30 minutes late and food cold told to see minera next time in shop.Today offered £1 discount and food in small portion. Won't be going there in hurry. Poor customer service. Previous owner had better customer care.

Where is Gordon "f-ing" Ramsey when you need him? This has to be the worst curry experience i have ever had. Shami kebabs, if that was what they were meant to be, were under cooked. Main course, chicken tikka madras. Wow, a curry sauce made with a carton of asda passata or some other pasta sauce ... yes, pasta sauce. It was disgusting.

Shame really. Previously, they have produced awesome shaslik, exemptional curries ... but this has put me off them forever. Rather nuke a ready meal than go here again.

THIS PLACE HERE IS THE CLOSEST YOU WILL GET TO LONDON SPICE HUT STYLE NAGA DONNER, i missed naga donner quite a bit due to not beeing able to travel as much, a friend recommended this shop and im glad i went, the portion is big and worththe price, the picture below is what is left after me eating half, the chips are perfected, the taste is closer than you think and chillier, not fake like the shops that claim they do naga donner around the leicester area, your doubts will get pushed aside i garuntee you, i will DEFINETLEY be going back and will recommend for a family gathering choice of place to get food from.

Have ordered twice and am impressed with the quality of curries. They don't have oil or ghee oozing out of them and are not salty. Perfect taste. Really impressed

Honest review - extremely poor service received today from the Oadby chippy. We placed a take away order for a specific time, unfortunately I was a few minutes late due to being stuck in traffic. I was made to wait a further 20 minutes for my food, despite the food being packed and ready for me to take away (which by the time I got home was cold). I was spoken to rudely by the owner and staff member - this will be the last time I will be ordering from here. Save your money and go else where. You’ll get more tastier food and much better customer service.

Food is great lots on menu and bit pricy

One of the best fish and chip suppers I've had in a long time. The fish was very well cooked with a lovely texture plus nice chips as well. Crisp and grease free, a support that scores highly and one I'd recommend without hesitation.
