Spice Hut Commercial Road London

When one has the sudden desire and craving to eat food that is known to clog arteries and create rapid bowel movements the next day they head for such a venue. Spice Hut is a small chain of Bengali style doner and curry takeout, they are known to cook your doner to your own style of heat etc. The food is generally classic greasy junk food, no other way to explain it. the price, quality and quantity all were fine, got what I expected only negative was slow service. They take telephone orders for collection which might be an idea if you know what you want. They also have seating which was cleanish. The food is heavy so be prepared to fall asleep or lay lifeless for a number of hours.
Now I'm going to find a treadmill to burn this off! Or maybe I could do that tomorrow 🤫

I'm not sure where all the hate for the place came from, maybe I lucked out? I have ordered from this place twice now, both for me and my boyfriend. So far, I say it's cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for and considering it's £3.00 for a full sized mixed Donner kebab wrap, I would expect it to be greasy, salty and generally nice as expected from a cheap kebab shop. I was served quickly, and food, made from scratch, was served to me within 10 minutes. My boyfriend and I have yet to have any signs of food poisoning, and we have yet to have met anyone that were rude to us.

Freshy behind the counter put the chilli sauce away soon as I came in to collect my order I did on the phone and refused to let me use sauce and would have to charge me extra £5 for sauce. Scam. Avoid.

Ordered food from here on Uber eats
They literally added a few pieces of meat and forgot the egg in my biryanis!
Didnt taste good nor had any flavour I have ordered from other branches before and this one has really let me down
Don’t waste your money here and Uber won’t help you either AVOID!

Chops x4 meal @£10

Chops were a good size with good amount of meat.. flavour can be improved and maybe cooked a little longer so meat is more tender.

Chips were fantastic.. love the chips here.
Sauces were free and on point as always.

Good service, no drama made the call and then came picked up..
Nice and swift.

Brilliant Donner kebabs and service.
They wrap the food up in foil which makes it even better for those takeaway pickup nights in.
Have to say, it’s probably one of the better franchises I have been to.

Customer service is very poor.
I been waiting about 30 minutes for
1 beef burger meal.the guy in service when I asked for how long.
Answer was so rude. He was tol guy .

Spice hut is one of the best doner shops in London great for dirty doner 😋 food is cheap and is great for quick bites, can't complain with the price.
