A very welcoming pub with ample parking.
Our meals were lovely, drinks refreshing and desert was just divine.
The waiting on staff were very friendly and super efficient. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick.
The premises were clean and the dining room we were in felt cosy.
If I really had to find one Improvement I would of liked more vegetarian options.
I cannot wait to return.

About 15mins from the A50/A500 Sideway roundabout and easy to get to. Good free parking. Dined in for dinner and had a lovely 3 course meal with a prosecco in a crystal glass and a strawberry!! Fab. Duck rolls for starter - lovely. Breaded brie for main - nice and a generous size cheesecake - delicious. Service was great, dining area was clean/tidy decor was tartan and stag themed - very nice. Lovely restaurant, would visit again and highly recommended!! 😃👍

Lovely staff. Service quick, even though it was busy. One roast beef, one chicken and two lamb. Food hot, and good selection of veg served separately. Puddings to die for especially bread and butter pud, cheesecake and trifle. Good traditional Sunday lunch for very reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone.

Don't know if its the present time
but I have always praised this place and given it top reviews.
Alas there seemed to be a reduced choice on their menu.
£23 for a mixed grill gamon,sausage, steak, 1 egg .
Not a proper mixed grill bit short.
On the plus side the staff were good.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the food here, while the menu is quite small the food is delicious.

The staff are friendly and attentive but don't hassle you.

If you want traditional pub grub that's home cooked I can't recommend this place ebough

Lovely restaurant. Food delicious, everything kept very clean, service very good. Car park. Book in advance as they get very busy. Only criticism is the atmosphere is not quite intimate and cosy enough for a couple. Lighting could be lower and candles on tables would be good as atmosphere is very important for a special night out, otherwise perfect. Dessert was lovely, and wine very good.
