The Bay Restaurant at The North Euston Hotel

My friend and I went to The Bay for lunch yesterday - Pat had soup, prawn sandwiches and skinny fries, and I had chicken sandwiches and skinny fries. We both had a drink, and then later on Pat had a coffee and I had a pot of tea. The service was excellent - all the waiters were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. The whole experience was very civilised and a real pleasure. We'll be back again soon!

Superb... highly recommended. Great food at very reasonable prices... bar prices are good too. Clean and smart surroundings. First class waiter/waitress service. No.long waits. The icing on the cake is the terrific views out to sea from the restaurant seats.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely views out to see! Main course took a long time to arrive (there were only two staff working very hard) but the staff were very apologetic and attentive which really makes a difference. We shall definitely go again. Drab, coffee was horrible, Luke warm. Can't comment on food as we didn't stay...

We were supposed to be on a Christmas works meal. It turned out to be the most unchrismassy Christmas do, not a piece of tinsel nor a cracker to be seen.
The meal was no more than average with "smash" served instead of proper mashed potato.
The meal included Buck fizz & Mulled wine. I would have thought this should have been served when we arrived, but no, it came after the main course, apparently that's when the waiter likes to serve it!
Normally at these Meals the Tea/ coffee is served with mince pies, but not at the North Euston.
In short a very disappointing evening, I won't be in a hurry to return.

Enjoy a Singapore Sling int the Raffles of the North! Wow it has become refined again to receive royalty and to think I actually trained here as a Chef when I was fresh out of school! Views, food and hospitality par excellence #CookYou Gong awarded without nepotism but based on merits in abundance.

Very disappointing first meal out after 6.5 months. Had salmon & mediterrean veg. Salmon OK but veg left a lot to be desired. Meal was £14.50 same as the steak meals -pooverpriced.po
