I've been in here a couple of times now and found it to be the friendliest place in Guildford since I moved here a few months ago - both the staff and locals. The beer is very good, if you like real ale and not mainstream rubbish lagers. It's small and cosy and, although I haven't tried any yet, the food is supposed to be very good and reasonably priced. Definitely recommended local.

Home cooked Italian food, excellent service and 6 real ales. Guildford's best foodie pub

The best pub I have been to in Guildford. Stopped in one day when passing and had the best food I've ever had in a pub. I've been back many times, it's my go to place to take friends and family. It's very fairly priced for the the quality of the food and the well looked after cask ales.

Best Italian experience! The owner helped us with the menu, and we all shared fantastic home cooked dishes! Especially recommend the haggis/black pudding ravioli!
It was such an exciting range of flavours, it felt like a Michelin tasting course!

Last night was a big revelation having dinner at on eof the most charming places I came across in Guildford, the decoration is sublime, full of flowers and lights and the attention was absolutely fantastic, the owner is a charming Italian lady who treated us like kings, we even got to listen Latin music all night and we even danced... The food was superb, delicious Italian handmade dishes with a proper taste of Tuscany, I would definetely suggest the hot chicken liver paté and the giant cous cous with scallops, simply delicious. Definetely a 5 stars al around!!!

Very friendly bartender who helped us figure out what kind of gin we wanted. Cute little pub with witty sayings painted on the walls.

I've heard a lot of good things about the food here, so after finally having the opportunity to visit, I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint!

There is a nice atmosphere in the pub, it is fairly quiet which lends itself to the cosy feel, it really is a hidden gem of Guildford. I will be making sure I come here again.

I am surprised she is still open. Took my cousin for lunch last year. She said she changes the menu all the time. I had the pasta which was tasteless. My cousin and my sister ordered the ravioli as she went on about how fab it is and homemade. It was soggy and water inside the ravioli. All our food were same price. When I got home I realised she has charged the ravioli more than it was on the menu. I called her and she insisted the ravioli were more expensive than my dish. I went on the website to view the menu but as it is just picture on Facebook and no proper website I couldn’t prove vi wrote a review hoping she will get back to me and will send me the menu to prove what she charged was correct but she didn’t.
She is very friendly but very slow as it was one band service. She was the host, barmaid and cook. The food was very disappointing and very expensive for what it was. Make sure check your bill before you leave.
