Worth every penny, and more.

We stayed here in the deluxe double during a weekend away at the game fair, and I can honestly say that it was such a great experience all thanks to the thought and care that’s gone into this place.

The room was furnished, well designed and had all the luxuries like a coffee machine with fresh milk and Italian biscuits, a hot and powerful shower with good quality shampoos and conditioner, soft clean towels and a heated floor.

The balcony looked out over a sheep field which allowed for good privacy and at night the room was beautifully cool and fresh and pitch black with no annoying lights or humming noises. We couldn’t hear any other guests moving around either.

Dinner was delicious, with unusual and enticing dishes that didn’t sound too pretentious or unfamiliar. My partner had a steak which was well priced and cooked perfectly, I had a burger which was equally tasty.

Breakfast was served hot, none greasy and plentiful. I had pancakes and they were lovely, he had the smashed avocado dish.

The staff were charismatic, attentive and friendly. We will most certainly be returning.

Beautiful place loved it. Spacious room with a huge bed that was very comfortable with perfect soft but plump pillows. Gorgeous outdoor seating erea and a fantastic restaurant. Loved the location just a couple miles from town in a peaceful and quiet location overlooking fields. Plenty of free parking. Very nice breakfast. Nothing to fault a fantastic stay in beautiful Stratford Upon Avon.

Everything about the Baraset Barn is excellent and cannot be faulted.
The bedrooms are spacious, the super king size bed is really comfortable and is the right size for the room.
The whole place is very well appointed and the staff are attentive and friendly. I really cannot think of any downside.
We will certainly come here again.
Thank you Baraset Barn.

Nice enough food. However very little choice for vegetarian or vegan customers. Most places have quite a few choices nowadays. I had a starter which was vegetarian and a pudding, but I came home feeling hungry.

Top notch!
Food was excellent, the staff were non intrusive and the atmosphere was quiet, despite being busy.

Spacious and picturesque inside the restaurant and the toilets were clean.

Lots of outdoor seating and the car park has two EV charging points. Both are Tesla branded, but one was marked for Tesla only and the other as electric vehicles. I was able to charge my non -Tesla on that one for free. Tethered, type 2, 7kWh.

The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of more vegan options in the menu. Great location, amazing decor and atmosphere. Everyone else enjoyed their food around me so it must have been good. Portions were generous.

What a wonderful place, great staff, stunning food and a fabulous wine list.
This was the best Sunday roast I've had in a long while, well, one that I've had in a restaurant.
The cured salmon starter was delightful. But the Roast beef was beautifully cooked and well rested, it was so tender and flavoursome. The roast Pork was equally excellent as was the Hake.
People often ask me, where do Chef's go on their day off?

The answer is "The Baraset Barn".

Thank you to the Kitchen Brigade and the front of house. You certainly know how to cut the Mustard.
Regards Nev
