Great food. Great service.

WARNING: Do not skip dessert and be sure to get your own serving. You won’t regret it.

Air conditioned meal. On a very hot day AC was a key choice. We had poulet, fish stew and calamari no drinks and it came out to around £50. Service was businesslike rather than warm, though the black server was charming and friendly. Food Came out in a timely manner and tasted just fine. I think there are offers with cote which are worth taking up as the walk in price is shall we say enough. I would return

I called for lunch today. I only had my 10 month grand daughter for company. Unfortunately for me ,by the time my food arrived, which was delicious, my little grand daughter was upset , tired and started to cry. I immediately cut my visit short, food hardly touched. What a reaction I received from the owner and staff. They were amazing. So understanding patient and supportive. They offered to box my food, and then the owner offered to help me in any way he could. It is a beautiful restaurant , food was delicious, but customer care was outstanding . I am not sure I have ever experienced that level of customer care and understanding in a restaurant before. Sadly I do not live in Bury St Edmunds, otherwise I would become a regular !! I wish the owner every success now and in the future ! Please don’t look beyond this restaurant, you will not be disappointed with the food and certainly not customer care.

Very nice restaurant with good quality food and polite friendly service. Don't be put off by the fact it's a chain, it's a lovely place for a nice simple French meal. I had the rib eye steak which was excellent. I asked for medium and it was probably closer to rare, but in my books better a steak under than overdone. The desert menu was particularly impressive and extensive. I recommend the frozen berries with white chocolate sauce. Prices as as you'd expect for a French restaurant, so on the higher side, but not unreasonable. Note that it is card only, but they do take American Express.

We were early for lunch but they gave us both menus. One of our party had a full cooked breakfast. They took our order just before 12pm wasn't long before we got our food.

We had French Onion Soup very nice and hot, Crock massure sandwich and minute steak.

I sent my chips back as they were cold.

Staff friendly and helpful

Good food! Some dishes were very good but some mediocre. The salmon on the fish dish ordered had bones in it and we discussed that with the restaurant manager and he sorted that issue out so customer service was pretty good. Had a good range of cocktails and overall a nice time.

Nice meal had with a decent wine choice to be enjoyed. Nicely done brasserie style. I know it's a chain but it's not too obvious. I really enjoyed the fish stew. The lack of music playing in the background however made it feel hollow. There was a point when it was just my friend and I sitting there and felt we had to whisper (and normally we are never quiet). It felt weird. I figured out the PA system was broken. But at the same time, life could be a whole lot worse! I would go back quite happily.
