The Ivy Castle View

Service was great. Food was stunning. Complimentary glass of Prosecco for Mum on Mother’s Day. Best Ivy experience I’ve ever had… couldn’t fault anything. And Mum absolutely loved it! So 5 stars all round!

The Ivy in Guildford is beautiful with lovely ambiance to it. The vibe of the place made it memorable. The service from welcoming you, to the waiter at the table was impeccable. The view and balcony seating was fantastic. Food was great and desert was delicious. The Guildford Ivy is better than the original Ivy, in fact any of The Ivy restaurants. The service and food was second to none. Highly recommend a visit.

Great food, with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere with an air of class. Decor was spot on and the service was exceptional. Impressed with the variety of options on the vegetarian menu. The profiteroles for desert were the icing on the cake and out of this world.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. We enjoyed afternoon tea which we were able to book on the same day which is rare but much appreciated. The restaurant is beautifully designed and great for photos. I was very pleased to have outdoor seating with direct views of the castle, which added even more to the experience.

The staff were unbelievably attentive, welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our visit was worthwhile. I was very impressed by their professionalism and level of customer service.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to others and look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful place with delicious food! I had told them we were celebrating my mums birthday and the servers all said happy birthday and surprised her with a tasty sweet treat at the end of our meal. Really special. Our waitress was lovely and very friendly (annoyingly forgotten her name!)

Lovely atmosphere, great bar and very friendly and attentive team.

Delicious! Had a lovely mother-daughter lunch at the Ivy. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Service was great and the bubbly was flowing. Can’t wait to visit again soon. The zucchini fries…. SO GOOD 😊

A wonderful place to have breakfast. Food was great, service was impeccable, and the view was stunning. 100% recommend people to try their brunch as the quality is great for a reasonable price.

The interior is also great, a perfect place to bring someone for a great dining experience.
