Exquisite! I have eaten in some of the country's best and most prestigious restaurants in my time and can honestly say that tonight's meal at Ben's was delicious. Not only was the food first class but so was the service. The menu provided a good range of choice. I look forward to going back again soon.

Really enjoyable food. Not cheap but you really get your money's worth. I had a wood pigeon Kiev which is one of the best starters I can remember enjoying for a while. Main was a pork belly dish which was generous with the meat, cooked till it was perfectly tender. Most others on the table got beef bavettes with chips and they all seemed very happy. Deserts were mainly tarts which looked splendid. All food was very well presented. Service was friendly and attentive. I'd thoroughly recommend and will probably come back soon.

Great seasonal menu. We both enjoyed every course and was one of the best meals we have had in the UK. The quality of the food is excellent and locally sourced but yet all very reasonably priced. Staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Top of our list for restaurants in Bury/Cambridge area.

Recently visited Ben's again for an anniversary meal having previously been and loved it. Really disappointed as although my partners meal was lovely, mine was not. When I asked to send it back I was told there was nothing wrong with it and it was exactly as the chef wished. The waitress told us Ben would come out to talk to us but this did not happen. Another waiter called Rob then served us and he was brilliant, unfortunately the rudeness of the waitress prior to this had put such a dampener on the evening we left. I really hope this was a one off as we had had such a good experience before.

Fab place. Food excellent. Compliments to the chef for all round efficiency and tasty fayre. He cooked everything from scratch virtually single handedly in full view of the guests! Fish and chip special night ...batter so light it nearly floated...delicious fish. Staff so friendly and obliging. In a party of 10 but everything so slick so no waiting or mistakes with service. Very reasonable too. Wonderful find...will return 👌

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. Excellent food. We first stumbled across this place after a trip to the cinema. It was the last evening of their special pie event. Those were the best pies we ever tasted! We've also been back for the usual menu, the Sunday lunch and the Afternoon Tea, all of which were of a great quality. The staff are such lovely, respectful people. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Ben's prides itself on the quality of its meat and we weren't disappointed. I had lamb for my main course and the meat was very flavoursome. The food overall, though, falls short of perfection on the smaller details: the potato dauphinoise style had a very chewy baked top for example. But we had a very enjoyable evening with friendly, attentive but not overpowering service.

The staff were wonderful at this restaurant, but the food unfortunately wasn't.
We went specifically for the Sunday roasts. It's a real shame they offer no vegetarian roast option, just a risotto.
The roast potatoes weren't crispy, which the menu boasts! The pork was flavourless and there was one tiny, lonely, stuffing ball. The other accompaniments were all quite nice. I can easily cook a better roast at home. I would expect chefs cooking such a limited menu (5ish options for each course) to do better.
