6 of us went there for a family meal on a Monday night and it was surprisingly busy. We had booked so got a table but there wasn't much space. We had young children with us so we didn't have a starter just the salad bar which was as good as always. We had 2 kids meals, 2 burgers and 2 steaks. The kids loved their meals and the burgers went down well. My rib-eye steak was beautiful but the other steak a rump was unfortunately undercooked and was very fatty and tough. However they replaced it and it was lovely. The desserts were great, the kids loved their Sundays! Good place for a family meal and would recommend booking.

Booked for 4 adults 2 children on way back from weekend away. Place was very busy, but the staff were attentive and friendly. Great kids menu which catered to all tastes. Salad bar was fresh. Food didn't take too long to arrive and although one steak had to be sent back (full of gristle) was sorted and replaced quickly without issue. Great puddings, including mini puds.

This is what £15.98 gets you for a takeaway? Absolutely atrocious!

The staff were uncomfortably patronising and arrogant. The salad bar is apparently no longer included in the takeaway.

Not worth it, and the quality was a lot worse than what Harvester used to be.

Avoid.

Amazing Service yesterday. We booked for our Christmas meal (early due to working in retail) for a table of 15 and we only ended up having 12 altogether so I assume she was the manager managed to organise the table to be together in the end 😄. We had a member of Staff who was dedicated to us and he was great(I am not sure of his name but I believe he has glasses and he had a tattoo on his neck. (he will know who he is.)😃His service for everything was
perfect. Also ordering food we didn’t have to wait long at all and all the food was great, especially for a big group and knowing they were short staffed but they all did very well .We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much and we all look forward to coming back.

So so disappointing. Had lunch there today, service was really really slow, long wait to be served then another long wait for food to arrive. Salad bar not refreshed very quickly so had to ask for the basics like lettuce and tomatoes. Other items like coleslaw, cucumber, pasta were not available as they had apparently run out of them.....at lunch time....I pity those dining later in the evening? Waited a long time for our drinks and eventually had to ask again for them. Mine was a refreshing Lime and Mint soda in a nice glass full of ice made with fresh mint as pictured and described on the menu. When it arrived though it was a very different picture in an ordinary glass, very little ice, no lime and no mint! When I queried it they said it was due to supplier issues? Really.... basics like mint and Ice?? We had children with us and many of the items on the children's menu were not available either. Food did eventually arrive and was OK but rather mediocre, for the same price we have eaten so much better elsewhere. This was the first visit back to a Harvester after many years and definitely the last. Very poor experience from walking in to walking out. So sad and we felt sorry for the waitresses who have to face the customers with such poor offerings.

Large party of 24 eating after an afternoon at the Panto. Service brilliant, food really good and excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this Harvester, particularly if you are looking for a large family treat out. Manon the Manager deserves special praise for putting up with our noisy large family.
Well done to all and we will be back👍👏

WINNER OF MOST STUPID COVID RULE!! Harvester take the prize for the most ridiculous covid rule with their self-service salad policy. Despite hundreds of buffets across the country now open with normal service, Harvester are not allowing guests to get their own salad. Instead you stand at the salad bar and tell a waiter what you would like - this waiter is not wearing any gloves or face covering and is touching more surfaces than any guest! If anything this makes it worse and more dangerous to spreading covid! Oh but don't worry, everyone is welcome to get their own refillable drinks! Whoever comes up with this rules needs their head looked at!

Decent enough service on our visit there today as a party of six though, effecient and friendly waiting staff with fresh food which was well cooked and delicious!

Had lunch here the other day with a friend and out of all of the harvesters I've been to, the one near the Hawth I've never had any problems with. Food was great and pretty reasonable too considering what you get. Our waiter Jessica delivered a brilliant and very friendly service with a smile (she deserves a pay rise in my mind)

Only slight criticism was that the drinks took a while to come out however this was compensated for by our brilliant waiter Jessica which is why my visit still gets 5 stars. Plus I think the place was short staffed however this also didn't effect my visit.
