A lovely village pub, was clean, comfortable and welcoming, landlord an old friend, and the food was fantastic 👍😊

Utterly superb, I would struggle to find anything negative to say. Surroundings pleasant and clean. Seats - we were given a choice and comfortable. Service polite, good humoured and attentive. Good offering of drinks available, not as varied as usual apparently but for a very good reason - the likelihood of another lockdown. Good variety of meals on menu. The food was exceptional. We all had lamb shank which were cooked to perfection accompanied by wide selection of veg. Prices very reasonable

Great to see this lovely pub open once more. We only had soup , it was delicious, roast parsnip and cauliflower. It was clean and smart and the bar man ... was friendly

Really nice traditional village pub. We received a warm welcome and pub looked good with lots of seating.
We had pre booked table to eat having seen others reviews and were not disappointed. Te food was good honest traditional pub grub. There was a decent choice and prices very reasonable. Good selection of drinks at bar and on tap with very friendly service. We were served at table.
Our food well presented, tasty and plenty of it and all food we saw looked appealing.
This pub definitely worth a visit if you in area or even if you need to go out of your way a bit to visit.

We had a really brilliant time at the Crowfield Rose on Saturday night. Glad we booked a table beforehand as it was quite busy. Simple pub grub done well, chips were especially delicious. Reasonably priced and the landlord was friendly too, would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely meal!

We stayed at Woodfarm Barns who recommended we try this fantastic pub and l am so glad we did. Excellent food and service made us very welcome. Even stayed the day when another local pub was not as Dog Friendly as it said. We turned up asked at a busy time could they book us in for our anniversary they did everything they could to make comfortable and even gave the dog a sausage. Thank you highly recommended

Had a great Sunday lunch today for 4 of us . Very warm friendly welcome from all.

First class country pub, to the warm welcome when we arrived to the food it really is a top class bar/restaurant. Very good selection of beers and ales and served with friendly craic, we had a meal that was really nice and service was excellent with no waiting about. We were staying in a Cottage nearby and it really is a must if you are passing through or near.
