Popped in for a quick bite after a shopping trip in town and was not disappointed . Freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. Polite And attentive service food was tasty and sure hit the spot. The bright and clean dinning room was quiet but it was a mid week afternoon and for an estate pub with the bar separate from the dinning area it is understandable. Will call again.

As a travelling football fan aboard 4 coaches and mini buses we stopped off here on route to Stoke. The staff could not do enough for us. easy to get a drink considering how many of us there was and turned the pub into a disco a good time had by all and will definitely be going back again

Quite possibly one of the best pies i have had in a very long time - Good solid pub grub, couldn't go wrong for the price. Beer good and good atmosphere. Bouncy castle for the kids as well.

Food 100% home cooked which was a refreshing change. It was Reasonably priced alcohol wise although if you go for a pint of Hop house 13 it's a bit pricey at £4.60 which you'd expect to pay in the town centre not in a reinvented working men's pub situated in a residential area.
Food is mainly based on pub classics and not too badly priced either.
It didn't seem very busy but it's a good place to take your dog as there is an enclosed beer garden, and you can have them in the bar also, just not the main eating area.
The staff are very friendly and helpful also .

Brilliant food lovely friendly staff clean and tidy and ample parking. Recommend the steaks

Excellent meal well cooked and served fresh and hot. Good value. Pleasant surroundings
