Went on a Saturday night while staying at the park. Got seated and drinks came out quickly which was nice. Food orders were taken promptly and came relatively quickly as well. Sadly the food was nothing to write home about. All three of us ordered food that came with chips but we all seemed to get different amounts. One burger came with a huge pile of chips and one with barely any. Lasagna was okay, the garlic bread it came with wasn't great but overall ok. Chicken burger was decent with the star of that plate being the macaroni bites. Filet o fish was not good at all, very bland. Main issue was all the food on the plate was different temperatures. Chips came out scolding hot but burgers were lukewarm if that. For £47 for three soft drinks and three mains was ok but none of us were really impressed by the food.

I dined at the Caister pub on Wednesday 24th August. I chose to eat a Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was extra to the price of the salad which I was happy to pay for. However the salad which was a dish in its own right consisted of some iceberg lettuce and fried pieces of bread with a dressing (the cheese was missing) And that on its on was priced at around £8.50. I was pretty disgusted with the fact that you could charge that price for what I would have considered a small side salad. I tried to find someone to complain to but unfortunately the staff seem too busy to pay any attention.
Needless to say that we didn’t bother with this pub for the rest of our stay.

Had an awful meal here this week. Celebrating a special birthday 7 of us arrived at 7pm. Ordered our food, some starters came with mains but the biggest problem was the quality of the food. We ordered Katsu curry, had a tablespoon of sauce. Had tikka masala with a spoon of rice, Chicken burger with an after taste and so on. It wasn't even that we ordered late. The duty manager didn't even have the good manners to come and speak to us. We had two other reservations which we cancelled

Appalling customer service took forever to clear the table staff and managers were seen standing around chatting and petting one another, one or two waitresses were ok and running around like headless chickens whilst others were doing nothing to help.
The food was not cooked properly so returned and then the second plate of food was still uncooked, on a roast we had bits of it missing so when asked they brought them out on a separate plate 3 times for different items. When we ordered a dessert that took forever to be served.
We were a table of 12 of which 1 waitress was amazing and very apologetic as she had to take a break so we were left waiting whilst the manageress was tending to her man.
I definitely won’t be dining there again.

Service was slow even though it really wasn't at all busy. Friendly enough staff. The wait between main meal and dessert was so long we missed the entertainment we had planned to see. Cheesecake came out warm and melted.
Toilets were very smelly as you walked past the mens.

I got my drinks about 10 minutes after ordering which is quite fast the food came about 30 minutes after ordering. The hunters chicken was cooked to perfection and the chips were nice and chunky. The fudge cake was absolutely lovely and it was not dry at all.(these over reviews are absolute rubbish the staff were so helpful and people give them a 1 star)

We used this almost every evening. Food was always hot and cooked perfectly. The lattes and toffee pudding is to die for. The staff great friendly. I am a bit of a food critic but saw nothing to complain about here. Hence i will be going again tomorrow night

Massively overpriced for awful food. Came in here for dinner one night and spent £55 on two adult meals and desserts and a child's meal and dessert ... we were so disappointed, the food was terrible and you could tell half of it was tinned and microwaved. We then ate breakfast in here where I paid £4.99 for a tiny breakfast and then asked for toast £1.99 for 2 slices but I was only given one slice and it came in charcoal form. We watched and the other customers were served the same burnt toast. My egg was underdone, bacon not done enough and toast burnt. And to top it off the coffee machine was broken for the week. The staff all seemed a bit moody and uninterested. Really really hated it here, such a disappointment.
