Great atmosphere, attentive staff, fabulous food & coffees

Absolutely amazing breakfast! My fussy boyfriend says it's his favourite one! I phoned to check when breakfast ended, and the lovely lady on the phone said half an hour earlier but was happy to make us a breakfast if we were coming soon. It was just so thoughtful and really cheered us up that nothing was too much

Took our elderly mum, children and grandchildren today. Food and drink were absolutely spot on...very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, extremely tasty posh mushrooms on toast, only criticism was the time we waited for our food. Staff very helpful. Maybe not enough staff in kitchen to provide a quicker service.

Enjoyed breakfast here. The staff are friendly, the service is slow. I appreciate fresh cooking and the meal was hit and well cooked but it did take a long time from ordering and they weren't busy so allow for plenty of time for your visit.

Used to love it here but it has massively gone down hill. But came in today and waited 10mins after ringing the bell twice and no one came to even just say we will be with you shortly, to not even acknowledge that you have customers in the shop is poor.
I'm not surprised there's hardly anyone in the shop anymore. Such a shame.

Found by chance on an ad hoc trip to Selby. Bloody brilliant!!! Food amazing, staff lovely. Take a visit, you won't be disappointed.

A perfect lunch is how I described this. Such a lovely atmosphere, engaging staff, the wait was a little long, just about to hit the "we'll have to ask where our food is" stage but then it came and it was absolutely delicious. Some lovely looking take away items too. Very impressed.
