Classy establishment with sensible prices. Bar was rammed - great cocktails.

Dining room was fancy and the Sommelier outstanding. The food was extremely good but truffle oil on the chips didn't go well with the cod and minty peas. Good wine choices.

We would happily return.

Food and service were excellent. Cost a little more than your average decent pub food, but it's worth it for the quality of food provided, which is more upmarket than just "pub food".
No complaints from a table of twelve speak volumes. Well worth a treat...

Having read the websites description of the food, and the sample menu, we booked a Thursday night date night meal. The decor was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were taken to our table and passed the menu. That's when it all started to go wrong, it's was a Thursday steak night menu (love steak) the three starters that were on it were all just deep fried pub standard food, I had mozzarella sticks and they came in a small bowl with bbq sauce, no presentation, just slapped in a bowl. I had to add black pepper just to taste something as they were bland. My husband had chicken wings and he said wetherspoons ones were tastier but the hot sauce was good. We both had ribeye steak for main and after seeing another customers face, when his was served, could totally understand the shocked look. The steak was about a centimetre thick, we asked for rare but it was that thin the only way you could get it rare would be to serve it raw. The lovely waitress asked if everything was good. I replied its ok, to her credit she said only ok is it under or over cooked, when I said over she offered to take it back. To be honest I didn't want to be disappointed again so stuck with it. Maybe it was just a Thursday night thing but we will never return.

Beautiful place, room was really lovely, very comfortable and clean. We loved the breakfast basket it was better than having a full English breakfast. Nice to have a pod coffee machine. Only had drinks in the bar but the owner and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

We are so happy to have a decent restaraunt in Jedburgh. The new owners have updated the decor and the chef is fantastic. The menu is good and very reasonably priced. The service and standards are lovely. We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

We visited this restaurant in August. The food was top quality and the lamb in particular was superb. Well worth a visit.

Visited Capon tree for the first time tonight. Food and service was excellent. Staff were attentive. Ambience nice and relaxing. If you are staying in or near Jedburgh I can highly recommend a visit here.
