The White Horse Restaurant

Second time we’ve been here and it was as good as I remembered. Every dish we ordered was amazing, fresh and well presented. Great atmosphere in the pub and lovely staff.

Many run of the mill restaurants serve premade meals, bought from Brakes, and heated up/spiced up in their own kitchens.

But not here. This is A* top quality food, cooked from fresh ingredients and served as and when ready. The difference is obvious, and the results superb.
We had an absolutely divine meal last night for a party of eight, cooked to perfection and served without fuss. The attentive staff are quick in noticing what's needed, and providing it, but not obtrusive.

An immensely enjoyable evening, where we feel no pressure to do anything except dine like gods.

Would very, very much recommend this restaurant as one of the best in north Wales.

I loved atmosphere and the food they serve. Chef was exceptional on that day and the waitress also very kind and professional .
Bit expensive but worth money

Absolutely lovely meal here last week! The food was phenomenal, really tasty. Loved the atmosphere and comfy seating. Highly recommended.

I have been lucky enough to eat here several times and it is the best kept secret in the area. The food is always exceptional with fresh products and an ever changing menu to represent what is not only seasonal but fresh and excellent at that moment in time. The service is very good with very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. I suspect if this place was in a more populated area it would be overrun but tucked away in the valley it manages to strike a perfect balance.

Such a cosy restaurant with lovely atmosphere and great food. Some of the food could have done with a bit more seasoning in my opinion (mainly the duck dish) but it was a fantastic meal nonetheless and I will be returning again at some point.

Such a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, fantastic service from a lovely young lady - and flavours to absolutely die for. My friend said it was the best steak tartare he had ever tasted, and we were equally impressed with the taste and quality of our other plates. A beautiful experience and hope to return soon. Congratulations to the chef also . Top quality nosh ❤
