Comfy, great home-y atmosphere, amazing service from the lady with the short red hair, absolute sweetheart, and the Sunday dinner me and my partner had was absolutely perfect to the t, good coffee too. Will definitely visit as often as I can :)

*EDIT* This place is now CLOSED DOWN. DON'T VISIT.

Brilliant little restaurant, the new couple who have revamped it and now running it are very welcoming. We enjoyed a proper homemade roast here recently, couldn't fault it. Very clean, Highly recommend a visit... Wheelchair friendly too! Just Amazing.

It's been a month since this young couple took over The Old Tavern (now The Old Blacksmiths Tavern), and they have made it into a very welcoming, cosy establishment serving amazing food. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or evening.

My grandaughter and I went here for Sunday lunch today,it was delicious!! Hot,fresh and lovely. Crispy roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. My grandaughter particularly enjoyed the pudding, cookie dough ice cream sundae.Prices were very reasonable indeed. The service was excellent and the young couple who have recently taken the place over were really attentive. Wishing them every success for the future,we will definitely return, highly recommend.

Good pub food, brilliant service, outdoor area and dog friendly. Great place to stop off if you're coming back from a day trip or if you live local to the area!
