Red Chilli

Since change of ownership, this takeaway foods is not good at all. The sauces are diluted and very watery. The curries have plain taste. Cheap curry paste used and cheap ingredients. The bombay potatoes are from a tin and had no flavour. I would actually give a 1* Will not order again from them! This is not an Indian! Might aswell order a ready made meal from Iceland frozen selection, same thing. Last owners had flavoursome foods. We will not waste £30 on food from this take away in the future. Very upset due to lack of flavour and their actual lack of knowledge of Indian flavours with the tin potatoes. Shocking!

Really sad to say that the entire takeaway was just not nice. Even the boiled rice was strange, like it had been burned and mixed with onions and bananas??
I was so looking forward to my chicken tikka korma but the overriding taste was creme fraiche?!? Not even yoghurt and from the texture it seems to have curdled. I had one mouthful and couldn't touch anymore. Three adults all had different curries and all didn't enjoy.
Such a shame as we really were looking forward to it but the only thing I enjoyed was the chicken pakora 😔
I was told there's an authentic Indian chef who took over but I have eaten at a lot of curry houses and this isn't our ignorance of traditional or authentic cuisine, it just wasn't nice at all and the smell is awful, it smells like stale beer.
Real shame.

Just had a fantastic chicken balti from the RED Chilli in Holyhead. Really good value for money. Local chef very experienced well worth it. 5 stars 🌟 definitely recommend giving it a try

Had a garlic chicken bhuna, and a garlic nan. OM-G it was awesome. Perfect amount of garlic, and a very decent sized portion. New full-time chef I believe, and a very pleasant young man at the front counter. Definitely recommend.

Ohh my gosh worst food ever I had in my entire life, yukhhhh.

I ordered the tandori mix grill wich was full of food colouring and no taste at all. Vegitable curry was very smelly, it was like the food had gone off!

The rice wasn't even fully cooked. Add to this the very very slow service for 2 item taken half an hour to make my food and all food given to the birds as wasn't fit for human consumption, the birds didn't enjoy the food either. Terrible terrible takeaway. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Since this place has recently had new management I gave it a try, the food is nice, i enjoyed it, will definitely be going again. If you enjoy an Indian takeaway, then definitely worth a visit.

We ordered a meal at half past six on New Year's, and we didn't get our meal until about 10. Once the meal arrived, only parts of what we ordered arrived. One of my vegetarian friends was without food. We asked for the other item to be delivered and they said they would deliver it in five minutes but they never showed up. I truly understand that it was New Years and busy, but waiting over 3 hours for a wrong order is unacceptable. However, the food tasted really good and the prices were fair 👍

Ordered a family takeaway for my birthday last week. Never tried Red Chilli before but had become very dissatisfied with my usual Indian takeaway in Valley. I have to say what a brilliant choice! Without doubt the best Indian meal I’ve had in years. Food was well prepared, not over cooked and not too much ghee. The meat was tender and lean. The additional sauces on the pickle tray were delicious, particularly the yoghurt mint sauce, which tasted like it had just been freshly prepared. Will definitely use again and I have no concerns about recommending to anyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
