Wagamama cardiff mermaid quay

We were served by the lovely Freya. A brilliant asset the the Cardiff bay restaurant! She was there for our every need and had such a lovely manner!

Similar to any other wagamama however the views are amazing. Lovely interiors and giant mirrors everywhere for those who love clicking mirror selfies

Went out for lunch with a Japanese theme. Went out with siblings, parents, grandparents.

Service is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Quality of food is amazing. 5 stars from me. My siblings, parents and grandparents would say the same!

Came here after work as a solo diner. They have a few small tables for 1-2 people if you don't fancy sitting at a bench; was fairly busy around 6pm but no need to pre-book.
I like dining at Wagamama when travelling for work as the prices are good, food fresh, and the wait time not too long.
On this occasion I went for pork belly buns with teriyaki beef donburi and blueberry spice to drink. It was all up to the standards I'd expect and the food tasted great. Happy to eat here again.

I loved the fact you can just pay without having to call the waiter.

The ambience of the place is really good and the crowd was not much at all when I visited. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon though so please plan your journey if you are going on a weekend.

First visit and was not disappointed. The food was outstanding. The waiter was the most happy and helpful I've ever been served by. Table 811 around 13:30pm 06/08/2021. The squid was to die for. My only feedback would be, lose the benches for chairs as those with bad backs and medical issues need lumbar support.

Could not fault the experience one bit. The waiter knew everything asked and answered quickly and flawlessly. The decor in the restaurant is really nice. Food was brilliant, very tasty and a good portion size. The bathrooms are for everyone and are perfectly clean and well designed for ease of use. I specifically liked the bathroom door lock as I thought it was quite innovative. Overall a really great experience and a pleasure to eat there.

Very good service, wonderful food, would visit again... preferably not too close to closing time next time. Staff were very kind, friendly, and professional.
