Stopped by and thankfully we were able to get a table for 4 (I'd advise to pre-book to avoid disappointment).
The service was amazing and the food was out of this world!! We ordered the Korean dog, Rocky Barbacoa burger and the Boston loaded fries with a side of halloumi fries - YUUUM! Kids had Mac & cheese. 🥰
Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Amazing burgers here. The pork rib burger just melted in the mouth, the onions rings were the crispiest I've ever tasted and the dirty fries were a taste sensation. A must try.

I came here with my partner after we spent a long day at Cardiff bay walking around and sight seeing. We did not eat here as we were not hungry at the time but will definitely come back and do that at some point.

I had half a pint of lemonade while my partner had a vanilla milkshake which I tried. The milkshake was bigger than my hand and well worth the price.

A fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Mermaid quay. The food and staff are ours with a hugely welcome smile on arrival and a fantastic run through of the menus and associated options.
The drinks menu was extremely extensive with both made to order cocktails and craft beers as well as soft and hot drinks.
The food was just as good as the welcome, very well presented as explained and importantly very tasty.
Even with the choice for food in this location this places staff, food and ambiance had it full every time we passed.
This will be our go to place in Cardiff. A***

Fast friendly service, menu was very good. It had various chicken burgers to choose from, not just beef burgers and had a few vegetarian and vegan options too. I liked the fact it stated the chicken was welfare checked and free range. The Onion rings were huge, generous portion of fries too, the only slight niggle was that the fries were a little bit too salty for me. The BBQ chicken burger was so good! Nearly forgot, I highly recommend the salted caramel milkshake, even came with cream on the top, it was so delicious that I drank it before I managed to get a photo 🙃 Was pleasantly surprised by the cocktail menu too. I’d definitely recommend Hub Box Cardiff.

Improtu visit for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, we were the only ones there so very quiet for breakfast. We were greeted straight away by our waitress who let us choose our seats and got us drinks instantly. She was very friendly and service was really quick. The full breakfast was a good quality, massive portion size and came with a free hot drink.

A really good addition to the bay dining scene. High quality burgers, great sides and an interesting drinks list. A mountain of options for the vegetarian burger lover, we tried the Beyond Burger with veggie bacon and the Haloumi burger, both outstanding, with mountains of skin-on fries. The restaurant is nicely designed with a rustic beach vibe and large bar. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner attended the restaurant in Cardiff Bay this evening and were both very impressed with the friendly service, atmosphere and quality of food. All the food arrived together as requested and was nice and hot! We both ordered chicken burgers which were absolutely delicious along with loaded fries and sides. The buffalo fingers were really tender and we especially enjoyed the halloumi fries. Will definitely visit again and recommend. 👌🏻😁
