Never written a review before but had to write one after visiting here. Went here with my boyfriend after booking last minute and was slightly apprehensive as it was quite out of the way. The waiter was such a lovely man - made our evening! We’re massive fans of Indian food and the food was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth a visit.

I booked last minute so was not really sure what to expect. The exterior of the restaurant did not fill me with confidence however, please don’t let this put you off. Once inside the atmosphere was very friendly and our waiter may have been the nicest man in the world. Furthermore, the food was exemplary. I’m an lover of Indian cuisine and the dhansak was one of the best I’ve had. Sadly I live 100s of miles away but this place was so good I felt I had to share it with others!

Excellent customer service. Warm welcome with seating choice offered rather than being led to a table. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. We ordered the set menu and were satisfied with the food served. However, it's the customer service that definitely deserves 5 stars. Thank you.

Booked last minute yesterday evening, so wasn't sure what to expect, however the food and service was exceptional (although not too busy) don't be put off by the external appearance, well worth a visit given the restaurant has been closed for a long time due to COVID. To the owners only suggestion would be to smarten up the front remove the over grown grass and weeds and maybe a sign further away on the road side as you approach. Good to support local businesses in these difficult times.

Authentic, fresh, flavoursome, lovely service...would highly recommend this place. Visited for a holiday and returned 3 times that week. Great veg dishes and they were happy to accomodate requests.

We popped in for a take away. The food is very tasty and there is a lot of choice on the menu. The restaurant was open and several tables were taken. Maybe next time we will order over the phone first as we had to wait 40 mins for our order, but it was worth the wait.

First review I've ever done, and wow does this place deserve it. Wonderful service, beautiful food, and awesome price! It deserves so much more than 4.5! I see no problem here

Apologies but need to set the scene before the food review. OK so I was on a camping trip and Googled Curry Houses near Porthmadog. I then put my trust in the reviews. So this place is in middle of nowhere but lovely setting. We turned up and you get this sense of dread as it does look very run down with some dodgy extension on the back. I used to live in London so you get to know worrying curry house signs. But the nagging question was the place had good and what looked like genuine reviews. I walked in to check it was open. Place was empty and asking the waitress (very friendly and helpful) for a table she did seem to pause as if it was fully booked (no reservation signs on table) before allocating me a table for me and my teenagers. Inside it seemed stuck in the past with what looked like garish wallpaper tablecloths. In my head, a voice was shouting run but it had ben a long day and I was hungry and tired - British Stiff Upper Lip not wanting to make a scene (also car was facing wrong way for quick getaway). "We will know if it is bad tomorrow morning" - I reassured my children. "Dad - there is a sticker in the window saying 3 stars out of 5 for hygiene ?" There was no alcohol drinks just fizzy drinks and free jugs of water. Later customers brought their own booze. I started to relax a bit as what appeared locals came in for large takeaways - can't be bad can it ? In trepidation, we placed our order. After a reasonable wait food turned up and was nicely presented by a friendly waiter. Two Kormas and a Pathia, rice, chips (one teenager did not want rice) and garlic Naan. Well like the bottom bit of rollercoaster after worrying build up - the food was really good even go as far as to say the Pathia was one of the best I have had. Naan was lovely. My teenager loved the chips which had been cooked crispy. All of it eaten except the left over chips which went with us in a box - and finished later. I would give 5 out of 5 but really the decor, drinks etc. need a bit of a shake up. Maybe also think of doing delivery, there are several large campsites in the area where I know people would love a curry.
