Excellent food, homemade lamb and mint sausages, fresh mash & fresh veg. I am a fussy eater and their food was amazing, photo does not do it justice. Real ale was great too. Friendly helpful staff, good social distancing which they put before profits. Felt very safe and in good hands, definitely recommend.

If you don't want a chain pub (Robinson's) or a posh restaurant please go here. We were surprised that this was a proper family run country pub surrounded by fields and sheep. I was also amazed that it currently only has 4.6 on google, not more. We found it hard to find good pubs around Snowdon that weren't catered towards tourists and high foot falls where businesses didn't need to try.

The pub is clean and has Snowdon Craft beer on draft, no Fosters or Carling (which for us was a plus). It also has a small pretty garden and allows motor homes to stay over night. The food is home cooked and you can tell this is true with real chips, handmade sausages and great deserts. I can't understand why someone commented that the food is of poor quality as we found it to be one of the best in the area. The prices are good and the portions are large.

Honestly don't bother with the pub in Trefriw, small portions, bad quality and expensive. Go here instead.

How this place isn't rated 5.0 baffles me. Wonderful hospitality and outstanding food sourced and cooked with passion by the owner and served in hearty portions at extremely reasonable prices. We liked it so much we went back the next day. A total gem in an increasingly mediocre sea of soulless, overpriced and bland chain pubs.

The food at this place is A M A Z I N G! We were lucky to be staying just down the road, and ate here both nights (I ordered the same meal both nights!)
We both said it was the best place by far we have eaten in a long time!
If you’re staying anywhere near here then it’s definitely worth a journey to eat here … we live 3 hours away and I want to go back and have the chicken for the 3rd time!

We, a group of motorcyclists, stopped here to eat because this pub is located on the road and it was not necessary to turn off the route. Frankly, none of us expected what awaited us! Nowhere else in Britain have I seen such excellent cuisine in a pub. And never met before. And a very beautiful interior that immerses you in the atmosphere of a farm. Thank you for a very delicious lunch from all of us! We often think of this pub when we stop to eat while traveling. No one remembered its name, but I took a photo when I was leaving and almost a year later I found it and the location of the pub. So don't say goodbye!🙂

What a beautiful Sunday dinner. This is a hidden gem. We had a group of 13 people and everyone enjoyed there meals. The service was excellent. If you are in the area or just passing make sure you check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous service and food in this beautiful country pub in idyllic rolling countryside.

Portions are very generous and the husband and wife team are absolutely delightful. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy and it was handled without issue or drama, she absolutely loved her food, which makes the experience one that stands out for us!

It made our celebration for my father's 70th that little bit extra super special ☺️
