Absolutely lovely food and service. Staff make u feel at home nothing is to much for them. Food is best around hands down I have wrote this review after eating here at-least 6 times I swear it keeps getting better. Head chef is proud and celebrates his food had a few conversations with him. Alex behind the bar is a credit also remembers what I like and recommends me what to eat next. Over all if you are around here and haven’t been you are missing out on top quality food

Special thanks to the lovely team at the Bod Erw. It was the perfect venue to host my late father’ wake. We were warmly greeted and well taken care of. The food was plentiful, tasty and nicely presented. The function room provided a flexible, intimate space where friends and family could raise a glass to my much loved father.

Thank you so much for contributing to a wonderful send off.

The bod erw is somewhere we visit quite frequently and we’ve never had a negative experience! The staff are the kindest most accommodating people always greeting us with a warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for the chef and the food is always 5 star. Chloe, John, Micheal and Pete are undoubtedly the nicest staff I have ever met. Amazing service.

Fantastic pit stop on way to the ferry. Too hungry to make it too Holyhead we pulled over and stumbled upon Bod Erw. Thursday befor Xmas at 6:45 pm and despite looking full the team found us a table in the conservatory. Xmas menu on and also had children's choices. I had braised beef and my wife had hake. Both fantastic plates of food. Served with a great veg selection. Each plate tailored to the main by the sauce. My beef melted and the mustard sauce unreal. Also big shout out to most likely a late winner of best roast potatoes I've eaten in 2022. Service absolutely fantastic and fair price in the current climate. Will definitely stop again on the next pilgrimage home

Booked a table here at short notice for a rare child free night and gentleman I spoke to was very accommodating.
Lovely warm welcome, staff very friendly and were given a little tour of the building before being seated.
Menu had a good variety of food available. Water brought to our table as we sat down, staff were very chatty and helpful making your feel at home.
Food was fantastic I had the Chicken in a creamy mushroom and garlic sauce , fresh vegetables and hand cut chips come perpetually and was plentiful, very tasty fresh food. Dessert was very refreshing on the palette.
Overall great experience, and shamed to say that despite being local it was our first visit, but it certainly wont be our last!

Visited on Saturday. Just under 2 hours from Uppermill & well worth the drive. Good food & Good value. Very good interactive service from warm & welcoming staff. Personally the chef special "Ham Hock & Welsh Cheddar Pie" was a " Proper/Cracking Pie with a creamy centre. Lots of lovely tender ham."
All 5 Adults enjoyed their meals. Will undoubtedly visit again. Thanks All
