Portico Lounge

Great place in town. Hands down better than anywhere else. Great atmosphere/music, big food menu, and pretty good cocktails. For the 'chilled' drinker mid-week.

As I entered I got that "this feels nice" feeling,there was a chatty friendly atmosphere about the place. There is tables well spread but we went for the leather sofa in the window. Menu had a really good choice of food catering for all, service was really good and prices were typical, all in all I would recommend you will not be disappointed.

Food, atmosphere, and service were beyond excellent. Literally the best place in town.

Open later than many in historic Abergavenny. Food was solid and reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. I think they understood that we were Americans and checked on us and cleared our dishes more along the lines of an American sensibility.

Great place for a lunch stop. Had sandwiches form the menu which had a good selection to choose from and were great value. The cafe is very dog friendly and have great staff. Overall very clean and tidy venue on the high street.

Nice food. Self service via an app - which I like and have used before - but unfortunately it didn't work this time. Service was reasonably fast although they were very busy. Overall nice place to grab a quick bite to eat and a drink.

Outstanding breakfast! Bacon & egg brioche sounds pretty standard but with the special concoction of sauces inside, it was anything BUT standard! Every mouthful was so flavoursome; great job Portico!

Overcooked and cold food.
Drinks were excellent as was the service maybe need to get a decent chef.
