Super nice staff. Very good pub homemade food. Large portions. Normal prices. I couldn’t expect anything else.

Made my sisters baby shower very special, always a great experience here. The food is also always incredible, their homemade chips are my favourite.

Ate here today with my family and I can honestly say it is the best Sunday dinner I have had in a long time, the menu selection was amazing, as well as roasts they had separate kids menu, fish menu plus a vegie menu, and so much food came out, the deserts were also amazing highly recommended a***

You can drive past and miss this place. It sounds harsh, but it isn't much to look at outside or inside, but my god, the food...😍 It's delicious. Massive portions, PROPER chips, PROPER burgers(no oven ready junk), and PROPER portions.... There's a chain pub nearby, I've been to both. This place wins hands down.. Recommended

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Helm. The food was excellent, staff and service were very friendly, informative and professional. Also very helpful for the 'fussy eater' lol.
Very generous portions and the meat was delicious and tender. Suitable for all ages and also wheelchair accessible.
Will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

Oh my goodness.. what an absolutely delicious Sunday dinner. The lamb was so tender. And a huge range of vegetables cooked to perfection.
My only negative was that the food was that there was so much delicious food that I didn't have any room for the delicious looking desserts. Well worth a visit.

Very cold as heating not working. Very little effort to decorate the room for Christmas parties. Food ok, turkey was a bit dry, but nice veg and plenty of it. For dessert I had Bailey's cheesecake - very rich and sickly, I couldn't eat it all.
