Booked our wedding reception here for a Monday, which is usually closed, but they opened specially for us. A very warm and welcoming place, with super efficient staff. We had all the upstairs to ourselves for the whole evening. The food was amazing, well presented with plenty of it. Every single one of the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If anyone is looking for a small intimate wedding venue I would highly recommend this wonderful place

Absolutely wonderful food, lovely atmosphere.

Servers were very friendly and not overly attentive, but still knew whenever they were required.

Food itself was amazing, the Glazed Pumpkin I was a little afraid of, but turned out to be one of the best things I've eaten all year.

Highly recommend.

The Vine Tree was recommended to us some time ago but it's taken us this long to finally go. Definitely worth the wait, the food was exceptional and the service was top class. We also got to meet the owners who were very warm and friendly. Can't wait to return!

Fantastic food and great service. Had a lovely meal about 18 months ago, so brought family back and weren't disappointed. It was equally wonderful. Would recommend to anyone.

We stopped here for refreshments only. This pub and restaurant holds special memories for us and is refurbished beautifully with stone floors. Garden seating in front of the pub. Great menu choices. Friendly helpful staff with good knowledge of drinks and food. Although we haven't eaten here since it had new management seeing the food coming out was impressive especially the seafood pasta dish which I hope to try in the future. You must log your car registration at the bar to avoid a ticket. This is to make sure only patrons of the pub use the car park in this very popular tourist town. Love the place no doubt will be back. 😊

Delicious and varied vegan menu, I had banana blossom fish and chips with delightful homemade vegan tartar sauce. It wasn't cheap but the staff were very welcoming and the service very fast. Many places in South Wales really fall short on the vegan front but not the Vine Tree!

We went in after a walk for a lunchtime snack and drink. The owners could not have been more accommodating. We were wet and they allowed us to dry clothes! We had two starters which were absolutely delicious. For those worrying about the parking – there is a car park owned by the vine tree opposite the pub which clearly the proprietors want to keep for those visiting their establishment, naturally. It’s not a big deal –you just have to put in the registration number of your car- and it’s sorted! Definitely recommended and we will go back.

Not a huge place but luckily we we walked in and got a table. It had a unique vibe, the food was top tier and the waitress was nothing but polite, even making an adjustment for us that was a tad unreasonable but she took it in stride. For a place like this I could not have asked for more. The burger was like buttery stake. They don't skimp on the portions though. I could have split a meal between two so unless you like being stuffed maybe bring some way to take leftovers with you because the food is too good to waste.
