Joe's Fish Shop Traditional Fish & Chips

Lovely freindly staff and a great selection of food. From fish and chips to curry and also burgers.. All I had was a chip roll on my way past from work but the chips were exceptional. Nice bright clean modern shop with good prices

I found the half pound burger grossly overdone and rubbery. 2 bites and it was in the bin.

Very nice fish cake that’s what gets the star, everything else soggy and tasteless

I have eaten from here a few time over the last six months and always found the food tasted nice, was reasonably priced with large portions. I visited again tonight on my way home from work. I ordered two large portions of chips, one curry sauce and a gravy plus two sausages in batter. I'm not sure if there are new owners but everything was awful. Two large bags of chips were the smallest ever and the gravy was the eorst I have ever tasted, it was like brown water, thin and insipid. My wife's curry was equally bad as were the crated sausages. I was hugely disappointed and sadly won't be visiting again.

Chips are cold, gravy is cheap and taste horrible and the curry was lumpy and horrible, the employees were rude when they messed up the order. Expensive £20 for 2 large chips (more like a small) a pot of gravy and a pot of curry. I would never even recommend it to the person I hate the most

Was the first time to try joe’s, was fast delivery and great food, will be back for more.

Food is really nice from here and its about average price been going to this chip shop on and off for 15 years and still going good 👍🏻

So this place is amazing. However, since Billy's Diner took over and they've started doing deliveries, I fear their standards will go down. They already don't answer the phone anymore because their likely swamped, and I fear their product purchasing will go downhill.

Billy's Diner don't seem to get anything right, bad food and bad deliveries, so we'll see how it affects this bar.
