Great food as always. Couldn't fault it. The burgers were delicious as were the desserts. The Merlin Trifle was a delightful surprise and a big hit. Highly recommend The Islwyn Inn.

Excellent service food was excellent not expensive fair price. Booked in advance as only taking bookings. Worth a visit. Recommend to all.

I recently had wedding reception here and I couldn't have been happier! Staff are all so friendly and welcoming, food is always absolutely delicious, bar area is cosy and the entire environment is relaxing. Would recommend for any occasion, or even just a meal out.

Myself and my friends go there every Sunday. The food is fantastic I'm never disappointed. I have tried most of the speciality evenings and I would highly recommend these events A special dining experience. Great wine gin and drinks menu. The staff are fantastic nothing it to much trouble. The Friday and Saturday dipping pots in dexters cwtch are also a treat

Over all a good experience. You have to book in advanced but that's not an issue. Service was slow but the place is extremely busy and the staff are working hard which is totally understandable as the food was worth any hassle the atmosphere is OK but a little loud and busy.

Excellent Sunday dinners served here everytime, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are very polite and helpful. Yesterday was the french themed night and I have to say it was superb. Every course was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to return for future themed nights. 10/10.
