The Rising Sun Inn

This is a superb pub. The hosts and servers are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The food was really beautiful, a bit of class on every plate, whilst still maintaining the pub feel. There is a great selection of beers and classic games to entertain children. Fully recommended.

Fabulous Sunday dinner in the restaurant. The new owners are a great couple. Very friendly and I'm sure they will be very successful. The premises are spotless and food is extremely good. Enjoyed staying at the adjoining caravan park too. Massive improvements all round. Highly recommended!!!!

First visit for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We had 2 veggie dishes and the beef. Food was piping hot on arrival and everything was delicious. The red wine gravy with the veggie option was a hit. The vegetables were between 3 people, therefore could have done with a little more new potatoes, peas and cabbage. Otherwise can't fault it at all. Service from the young staff was excellent, very polite and helpful 😊

Really friendly staff, delicious fresh, cooked to order, food. Local produce used - very generous portions. Local beers available, would recommend booking in advance. Enjoyed so much we came back again. We visited with some friends from Canada 🇨🇦 who were also very impressed.

Having been at lunch today with a family group, I am appalled to discover that our entire meal was being recorded on CCTV.

It appears that an honest review on this site was met with detailed times of our movements from entering to picking up our knives and forks and beginning our meal.

We have enjoyed the high quality of your kitchen and staff before. The food is currently the best Sunday lunch by far in this area.

However, the management is unable to take constructive criticism about waiting times, and has to stoop to giving a grossly inaccurate timeframe, citing further oddly inaccurate CCTV footage.

Just agreeing that staff were short today would have been just fine.

Difficult times for pubs. We were a group of 9 and food and service were excellent. Best caesar salad I've had in years. I know getting staff is hard and service a little slower as a result but all was explained really clearly and well worth the wait. Can't recommend highly enough. Keep it up

It's been many years since I could say I had a really good pub meal in Pembrokeshire. This place ticked all the boxes perfectly with a warm welcome, a well thought out food menu with sensible prices and good quality. I couldn't ask for any more. Well done to everyone at the Rising Sun for getting it right. :)

We had a wonderful evening meal at The Rising Sun from their Festive menu - 6 adults, we all had varied meals, and all very much enjoyed. None of your usual Xmas pub meal with frozen veg - this was freshly cooked, and every bit eaten 😋😂
We had not visited The Rising Sun before, but we shall do from now on - it knocks spots off any local competition for value, and service too.
All of the Staff we met were Welcoming and lovely - a real credit to the pub.
