I was recommended to visit Pant Du by the owner of my holiday let. Although I hadn’t booked a table, the staff found a way to squeeze us in. Lovely, friendly service and great food. And cider. Oh yes!Absolutely stunning location, although I’ll try and visit in better weather next time & book the tour. Such an interesting place.

Great afternoon tea, surrounded by stunning views from the Nantlle Valley to Caernarfon Bay. Very friendly and courteous staff. Highly recommended for anyone to visit the vineyards and cafe.

Glad we found this place, unfortunately the vineyard had run out of wine! But the rhubarb cider was more than acceptable. And can highly recommend the lemon cheesecake.

With wonderful views, Pant Du is in a prime location. It is such a shame that the food doesn't quite meet the expectations of such a venue. On the lunchtime menu there appeared various fillings served with a tortilla wrap. My son had a very disappointing deconstructed wrap served with an equally disappointing salad. Why deconstruct a simple wrap? I had a gluten free toasted cheese sandwich. The bread smelt awful and was accompanied by a basic side salad and coleslaw. The cheese was still uncooked, and the salad hadn't any dressing. I've had so much better at other cafes in the local area.

I feel annoyed as I've eaten a number of times at Pant Du Vineyard and have been consistently disappointed by the lack of care and imagination with the food, with exception of the cakes which are homemade and extremely good. The service is also really good, where the staff are both attentive and friendly. All it would take is a bit more attention and imagination with the food, and a wonderful time would be had by all.

We felt like we were back in Spain! Absolutely stunning location! We managed to stumble across it towards the end of the day just as the sun was setting behind the mountain and making everything look very beautiful. Wine was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I lost my keys and they were so concerned and tried to help as much as they could even though they were closing. We will definitely be back soon.

Richard and Iola Huws own and have run this vineyard since 2007.

It has 9 acres of vines and 18 acres of apple trees on the slopes of Dyffryn Nanttle.

They have quite an array of products - wine, cider, apple juice, spring water and honey. Their meals were very tasty and worth every single penny and more.

They served Welsh red wine that was light and airy. The food was delicious as staff so friendly I almost gave everyone a hug after my meal.

The best time to visit the vineyard and orchard is between May and October.

Richard will teach you about the history of Dyffryn Nanttle and talk through the varieties of vines and apple trees there.

One key note is that Pant Du is Wales' first solar powered Vineyard and Orchard with 44 solar panels.

Lovely little place with amazing views of the vineyard. We sat outside and it was a fantastic spot. Quite a simple menu not to complicated but the food was nice. Hot chocolate was lovely and desserts look nice, we had a toasted panini and the soup of the day which was French onion soup. Would recommend for a nice afternoon dinner.
