An excellent tiled roof, cut to your dimensions and specifications.

Great design and a variety of tiles suit.

When having our roof checked by PEG as a requirement before renting our property out if failed due to faulty electrics caused by the Supalite electrician. Following numerous attempts to contact Supalite in order to fix the problem they have not responded even though it is clear to see they are receiving our messages. Appalling service and extremely concerning as they left our property in an unsafe state.

Supalite say on their website "Peace of Mind Trusted Installers nationwide" but our installer Wellite will not mend a leak in our roof installed less than a year ago. We have had to pay another installer £2000 to mend it. Wellite seem to have gone into liquidation but seem to still be operating and are still being endorsed on the Supalite website.

Negligent, Reckless and 10 year guarantee is a lie.

My company purchased a Supalite roof and installed it at a customers house. Not long after completion the roof suffered catastrophic failures that has led to repairs and redesigns of their own system that runs into 5 figures.

We followed all the instructions provided by Supalite to the letter and took photographs throughout the build in order to prove installation was correct in order to obtain the building control approval upon completion.
In reporting the faults back to Supalite it is now clear that there are serious and fundamental omissions in the instructions provided which lead to the failures. Supalite have made suggestions on how to fix the problems but have refused to pay my company compensation for their failure to provide adequate instructions to us the installers. They claim the product is building control compliant and they offer a 10 year product guarantee via the installer. The reality is that they refuse to provide this guarantee to the installer when the issue is clearly their own negligence, leaving the installer to pick up the bill for the repairs.

Supalite have tried to retrospectively apply design responsibilities onto myself as the installer. If we were made aware that we had design responsibilities this would have been fine as we could have taken steps to redesign their “system” to make sure it was fit for purpose. Sadly they are just interested in avoiding any form of liability.

I highly recommend avoiding using a Supalite roof.

We unfortunately had problems with our installers who did not complete the job and it appears when we tried to start over we were parts of the roof missing. We were indeed fortunate they had selected Supalite for the conservatory roof who appreciated that although we weren’t trade and had no contact with the original installation company, went out of their way to help track down replacement parts so we could finish this project. This was led by by one of their team - Laura - who kept us fully up to date on how things were progressing and was very proactive and helpful. The quality of the product is excellent and we would certainly use them again for future projects.

Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION. My SupaLite roof (which was installed by an established local company with a SupaLite engineer’s help, known at the time as an “assisted fit”) has been no end of trouble. It has been leaky and the plasterboard ceiling was incorrectly fitted, so started to collapse after a couple of years. The approved SupaLite installation company I used wound up about six months after the roof was fitted, which shouldn’t have been an issue given the 10 year “insurance backed guarantee” I had. However, no other companies will touch a SupaLite roof that they haven’t installed. SupaLite themselves were no help whatsoever in this situation, just giving me a list of their approved installers, who then refused to do any work for me.

In summary, if you want a warm, useable room where your conservatory is, knock it down and build a proper extension. A conservatory is never going to be built to the same standards, irrespective of what sort of roof you have on it. And if you're determined to keep the conservatory and replace the roof, save yourself some grief and don’t buy SupaLite!

As an aside, I see SupaLite have replied to another post distancing themselves from installs, claiming they only provide the product. This is false, they did install roofs themselves up to at least 2016.
