Can't recommend them enough. Fitted a dry ridge system to my mum's roof with the minimum of fuss. They even fixed a couple of broken tiles, and secured her arial. Work was completed on time, on budget and with a brilliant line of communication all the way. The finishing on the job was perfect, and they were tidy and conscientious. I booked them on the strength of a personal recommendation from a friend, and was not disappointed.

Josh and his team have just replaced our garage roof, their professional attitude and work is second to none. Very pleased with the new roof and the way they kept the work area clean. Will definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

3 years after moving into my ≈90 year old semi-detached house it was impossible to put off replacing the main roof any longer as I could tell when it was raining by hearing water drip onto the ceiling above me and there would occasionally be bird droppings in the loft.

Josh came out to discuss what options are available and the best courses of action,having roofed for the best part of 2 decades it was very clear he knows what he is talking about.
The quote given was comprehensive and gave in depth detail to the work that would be done, at first I thought it was odd that it stated that each tile would be nailed down as I thought surely this would go without saying but soon learnt that there are some roofers out there that simply lay the tiles in place and say jobs a good’un (this was the case for my adjoined neighbours as discovered when accessing their roof to replace the shared valley).

In addition to the detailed quote, Josh discussed the options to fit my budget along with their cost/benefit in the short and long term. I opted for the slightly more expensive option of having a clay tiled roof which will actually work out cheaper in the long run in comparison to concrete due to their increased durability and longevity (they also look much nicer). Josh was the only roofer I spoke to that was confident in being able to source them reliably during the logistical nightmare that the past two years have been.

A deal was struck and 2 months later Josh and his team were up there pulling what was later described as ‘one of the most overdue roofs they have worked on’ down. The dates picked happened to be some of the worst weather we have had all year, torrential rain and winds of 45+ mph came in during the removal but that didn’t stop them as it couldn’t simply be left uncovered. Despite these challenges they were in high spirits and it was clear that they were a team and not just a group of random lads slapped together for a job.

Throughout the job the team was friendly and professional, they ensured the site was kept tidy each evening before leaving and were a pleasure to be around.

As the roof progressed Josh documented in pictures what was happening so that I could see what had been done and the condition prior to the work. It was great to see the quality of work as many areas cannot be seen from ground level so it brought peace of mind.

I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you are thinking of having work done then this is one company you should not miss out on. The others will pale in comparison.

Even though they were very busy, Josh came out to assess what was required & said he would do his best to repair the roof before Christmas. The guys came on 22nd December, worked very hard, explained what they had done, cleaned up after themselves and I've not had any problems with the roof since. Excellent company that I can thoroughly recommend!

I have used Josh and his team at JR roofing a couple of times now, on separate occasions, at 2 different properties, after cowboy builders had done a terrible job on our flat roof extensions.
The guys are very polite, hard working, trustworthy and tidy.

We found Josh after a so called joiner had ruined our roof at a cost of thousands of pounds. We didn't have any faith in tradespeople at this point but Josh and his team restored it. The quality of work is outstanding, you can relax and have complete trust in him. He took on a very challenging job and exceeded expectation. Would I recommend him?
