An absolute awful experience, They rip us off. They charged us £650 for 1 hour work to repair a roof leak. Our rook is still leaking, even worse. We have had other roofers to come and inspect his work, and they have all commented, how bad it is. Even our neighbour who saw them carrying out the work, commented how bad they were. I'll stay away from them.

Fast, reliable & very cost effective! Taylors repaired my roof and was professional throughout the entire process. I strongly recommend taylors for any roof repairs or roof installation work! Thanks again

Zero stars is not an option. But avoid this company, not interested in doing a proper job just in ripping of money.

COWBOY ALERT number 3
NEVER use this company.
I am a pensioner, I was ROBBED of £4800
I had a new roof on a single storey room, I was told that the gutters overhead on the double storey were in a bad way, WELL THEY ARE NOW, water pours from the joint of the gutters as they have been sealed with silicone, no bracket costing less than £5, twice they returned to stick more silicone on it, again only to break under the weight of water.
New slates means old slates repaired with silicone, slates don't sit flat one rests on the side of the velux window to save cutting to size
At least 4 slates have corners missing while new ones stand unused.
Lead flashing is short and doesn't reach the roof end.
Pictures and video can be provided as I have to Charlie, who despite numerous WhatsApp and ansaphone messages refuses to even reply.
I may be a pensioner but I have a Science Degree and a Masters Degree

COWBOY ALERT-No 2 !!!
This company has serious issues with understanding the meaning after service, and the delivery of a professional and competent roofing service. Like previous reviews I also had work completed by these cowboys, a down pipe fitted that is now loose causing water to fall direct on my wall.
I have phoned Charlie on several occasions and received a variety of false assurances that he would indeed return and fix the problem, he has even spoken to my family members and made similar promises, knowing all the time he had no intention of correcting the issue. All attempts have failed to get him back to fix the problem. I would echo the sentiment of previous reviews, in that these professional cowboys work so far away from their local area that they feel it is too much trouble to return should they need to make any remedial repairs.
The irony is not lost in that Charlie as replied to a post “Thank you for the review Feel free to contact us any time if you have any issues at all” , Charlie you forgot to say “ but I won't be doing anything about it, I have you money now”
It is sad when you can’t trust a workman who claims to be professional and gets paid handsomely.
This cowboy outfit gives decent roofers a bad name!!!!!!!.

COWBOY ALERT!!! Avoid this company if you want a good job with after service. I put an ad on Rated people and Charlie from Taylors Roofing had called almost immediately. I thought it odd that he was prepared to come all the way from Accrington to the Wirral but with water coming through the ceiling we were desperate. A bloke from Taylors came the next day and took almost a grand off me to resurface the dormer, do a bit of pointing and fit a gutter/drainpipe to the dormer.
After a few weeks the drainpipe fell loose (see photo) and try as I may to get him to come back all attempts were in vain. Charlie asked me to send a photo which I duly did, then he ignored all further attempts at communication - phone calls, texts, Whatsapp etc. Even after being threatened with court action he wasn't interested in fixing his dodgy work.
I'm assuming that being the professional cowboy outfit that Taylors are, they can't do much work in their immediate area so now whizz around the Northwest doing substandard work and offering zero accountability if things go wrong. I'm a tradesman myself and understand that things sometimes do go wrong. The difference is that I always look after my customers regardless of inconvenience or cost of a return visit. Trust & respect is king when dealing with paying customers. Taylors will offer neither so if you use them pray that on the day they manage do do a competent job, though looking at the way they fit my drainpipe, with just one bracket, I'd say that they know as much about roofing/customer service as I know about quantum physics. Avoid like the plague!
Just an addition to the above - after being harassed almost daily for a week to take down this negative feedback, when it dawned on Charlie that I wasn't going to I was called an f***ing t**t. Say's it all about the man!
