Derek Taylor Roofing & Property Maintenance

This is the second time we have used Derek to carry out work which is testament in itself to his first job of repairing some felt and tile damage on our flat roof - Derek ha this time repaired a chimney stack, re rendered the stack, fitted a new pot and cowl, repainted area fully and applied a fiber paint product to our roof area that is a flat roof joining two properties in a gully. The process from contact to completion has been great with lots of communication - he has been professional throughout and the finished work looks wonderful. I know nobody likes to pay too much but he provided a fair price with scaffolding included and there were no hidden costs - really punctual and a great work ethic - thank you Derek - I will use again to replace ridge tiles on my garage roof.

Repointed chimney and repaired a small leak in the surrounding flashing a few days ago. Very professional work ethic. very friendly and polite team. Everything was left clean and tidy. A fair price considering the time/effort involved and the need to erect a scaffolding tower. A local small business, and I would not hesitate to use them again - I've got a note of Derek's number!

Derek & his team came to our rescue after the recent storms in January & February 2020. We are a GP surgery and a 60 foot tree fell on to part of the surgery damaging a wall and parts of the roof. Derek was very quick to attend to help assess the damage as it created a huge H&S problem. He then had to come to our rescue for a second time in February when we had a leak in another part of the roof which in turn meant our electrics were fried due to the amount of water. A GP surgery with no electricity is not fun!

Derek and his team were very professional, communicated well and even re-scheduled a job for us to help get us back up and running quickly. The work is to a high standard and very competitive.

Trust is a big thing when using building contractors. Derek Taylor and his team(Dave & Liam) helped me out with bodged roofing repair carried by another company. He is a down to earth trustworthy guy. A very professional team. Will definitely be using Derek and his team again.

We used Derek Taylor to reset the ridge of our roof after a tile came loose in the storm, as well as to paint the exterior render of our house. From start to finish, Derek's communication was excellent and he was able to come out and quote for the works almost immediately. The work was completed very much to our expectations, very smartly and professionally done.

Derek, Liam and their team are professional, friendly, approachable and helpful. They have completed various repairs on our roof including the ridge and one of the valleys. Work is completed to a high standard. We would definitely recommend them.

Derek and Liam repointed our gable end wall back in December 20 so when our garage roof started to leak they were an obvious choice to carry out the repair/replacement. We opted for a rubber roof to replace the old felt one. This work was carried out by Derek and Liam and I cannot fault them for the work that has been done. The whole area around the garage was swept clean of any debris that had fallen whilst replacing the roof. In summary, another first class job. I will definitely be using Derek and Liam’s services again in the future for any other property maintenance issue that may arise.
