Dave did a great job re-pointing our chimney - came on time to provide an estimate, provided a good estimate and completed the job as agreed. Even came back the next day to check the cement had properly set. Always polite and gave good advice.

Dave was extremely helpful during a very lengthy planning process for what was a fairly significant build; patiently re-spec'ing the work on a number of occasions and then providing invaluable advice and guidance around the final design. Pricing was extremely competitive and the work was absolutely top quality. The guys arrived exactly on time and worked solidly, right to schedule, showing a huge amount of care and attention to detail. They were polite, friendly and clearly very knowledgable. The house is completely transformed, we're absolutely delighted at the results and couldn't recommend them more highly.

A great service by Dave & his guys! We had removed an enormous chimney due to it leaking & hired dave & the team to come & fill in the whooping hole left in the roof!! Wow what a service delivered they filled the hole, vented the roof as to not cause damp issues in future, felted & tiled it back in & replaced the gutter that had been damaged by some nesting birds! Fantastic workmanship. Looking forward to having them on the next job.

I bought a Victorian house in Guildford and the survey had revealed that the roof needed to be replaced. I was recommended Dave Cheeseman as a firm with good experience in older and more complicated roofs. Dave quoted competitively and I chose him based on the recommendation.

They have just finished and I am very very happy with the work they have done and the way they did it. The work is of very high quality, was done efficiently and the workmen were extremely nice and professional. Dave is very responsive and replied quickly and accurate to questions and asks I had.

We had all the existing tiles and old underlay removed, new battens, new underlay and new tiles. He repointed in lime mortar the chimneys, replaced the leadwork (very nicely done) and sourced and fitted some original period decoration pieces to top it off. He also fitted some new guttering and brought in a decorator to prep and repaint all the soffits / fascia’s around the house.

A huge thanks to Dave and his team. My fathers house suffered some damage to the flat roof on the loft conversion before Christmas, whilst they were very busy, managed to sort out a temporary repair prior to replacing the flat roof. Because their quote was so reasonable booked some additional work including new guttering, fascias and soffits. Standard of workmanship is exemplary & all of the staff were brilliant, timely, conscientious and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will definitely use them again.
