We hired Mark Nelson – 1st Class Roofing to rebuild half of our Chimney Stack, which was unstable.
The price was very fair and Mark was knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
Within a few working days, Mark had arranged for scaffolding to be put up.
The job was then completed the following 2 days, all whilst we were at work so didn’t have to take any time off.
Pictures were sent showing the finished work from the roof line and the chimney now looks safe, secure and stable.
We’re very happy with the work and would be happy to use Mark again for any roofing jobs.

I called Mark following some work done by another builder which was not satisfactory . I was very impressed by Mark's fast response he called round to view the work within an hour. He did the job in the next few days. A whole new roof installed at a very competitive price and done quickly to a very high standard. I am more than pleased with the work and recommend Mark.

I can pretty much only endorse the other good reviews here. Mark came to sort out a problem with a downpipe from a property above. As well as the problem with the pipe, he checked out the roof above for obstructions. A thorough, competent, professional job, and he did not make a drama out of a crisis. First Class job from a First Class tradesman.

They came promptly (to replace ridge tiles, see photos) at a busy time when there was only a narrow time period to get the work done. .I had used this firm before to refelt a flat roof over a bay (see photos), as well as to replace slipping tiles in other areas. They were well equipped to fix a wide range of roof repairs,.

Barry has been unresponsive to my calls to rectify the poor install of new gutters.
I will now have to pay another company to install the correct size gutters correctly.

We found this company by chance via a Google search and what a great find it was. Mark came at the time agreed to look at a leak we had on our roof. He didn't mess about straight up the ladder onto the roof to check the roof for possible issues. He found the mortar joint cracked where the ridge tiles meet the chimney he showed me photos he had taken on his phone while on the roof. He even carried out the repair while he was here all for a very reasonable price. He is a really friendly guy and he went out of his way to help us out. This is the first time we used Mark from 1st class roofing but we will definitely use him from now on for any future work and recommend him to all of our friends and family

Happy to recommend, would use again. Before providing the quotation Mark Nelson went up a ladder and used a spirit level to assess the work and checked and tested the gutters when the work was completed.
