WARNING..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a small leak in the corner of my gutter. Daniel Sullivan or Dani as he likes to be called said I needed to have a section replaced, from the corner to the front end. I paid him £130 to get it sorted, which took his assistant Terri 5 minutes to replace a 50 cm piece of guttering at the end of May. Now every time it rains, I have water gushing down the front of my house like a waterfall.
Every time I rang to ask him to come back & rectify his installation, he would tell me a time & date but he never kept his word. This happened well over 3 times & every time he never had the decency to call to say that he was not going to come. I have also texted & I have left messages with his partner for him to call me but he just kept ignoring me. This has been ongoing now for over 5 months.
I have now had someone else take a look at the incomplete installation & was told that Active Roofing had not adjusted the guttering & they had not put the stop end and that was the reason why water was pouring down the front of my house. I hope my review prevents other people from being put in a similar situation and saves them from having to fork out more money to rectify a job. In all my life I have never come across such an incompetent & untrustworthy tradesman before & I hope I never will again.

Not a trustworthy tradesman, he took the money, walked away from the job and was unwilling to complete outstanding roofing work. He did not put right, poor workmanship, unless first paid in cash, then abandoned the work showing unprofessional behaviour when I made a complaint. Always beware this tradesman asking for payment upfront before doing any work, a reputable tradesman will only ask you for payment at the end of the work when you are completely satisfied the job is done.

In 2020 I was so unfortunate to find Daniel Sullivan, so charming seems genuine employs people to do the work. Charged me thousands done such shoddy work, I have never rested with my roof. Constantly repairing, charging, not showing up and passing the buck. He said he went out of business during Covid no doubt he has reopened under another name. I think I will check if I can sue for something back. I have all his dogegy receipts and guarantees.
