First Choice Roofing

Barry arrived within 90 minutes of my call after Storm Eunice took off two tiles & a section of guttering. He fixed everything quickly and efficiently, and also checked round the rest of the house to make sure nothing else had come loose. Fantastic service - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

The roof under lay had deteriorated through wear and tear. This allowed for birds to cause further damage and use my soffits as they wished! I called First Choice Roofing Tuesday evening, they came over Wednesday morning to quote and look at the damage. Booked me in for a morning visit Thursday. They took photos and videos to keep me updated with the work being carried out. Have to say really good, quick and professional service. Would highly recommend. Attached are photos of the work. Having lost an edge ridge tile in the last storm, I called Barry this morning to arrange a convenient time to come and take a look.

A few hours later he arrived, assessed what was needed and advised me that his guys would be able to come back within the hour with the necessary tile etc to complete the job.

Barry and his team were professional, efficient and informative- taking the time to explain how the job would be done and how a previous repair (in a different storm) had not been fixed correctly, causing repeat loss of tile. Whilst on the roof, further assessment was carried out to ensure everything else was in order.

Our porch overhang began to detach itself from the front of the house, posing a danger to ourselves and any visitors. First Choice came out within an hour of my contacting them (on a Saturday!). By the end of the day had removed the dangerous structure and taken away all the rubbish. A few days later they came back and built a brand new one. The front of the house now looks very smart!

I am very impressed by their professional and responsive service and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We asked First Choice to remove our guttering prior to external re-painting and to then reinstall it with some adjustments to improve its effectiveness in stormy weather. This involved around 40 metres of guttering. At the same time we asked them to provide some lead work to divert heavy rain from a roof valley, and also to install a new vent tile. The work was all done promptly including new gutter joints. They then checked for leaks and tweaked the fittings as necessary. We were very happy with the result.

The First Choice roofing team were fantastic. We had serious damp problems in the kitchen ceiling due to previous work done horrendously. First choice removed all the tiles, replaced the felt and batons, and refit the now free from mould tiles. They also redesigned a section of the roof to prevent leaks in future. The team were professional, polite, and incredibly efficient. Would highly recommend First Choice to anyone in need of some roof work. Thank you guys!

The team came round as expected and work was completed really efficiently and the team were so courteous. Photos of the work as it progressed were sent which were very handy to see.

A couple of other issues were identified once the roof was off and the team took on the additional work as well.
