I had Acme Roofing do a full replacement of my roof tiles, barge boards, gutters, soffits and fascia’s, as well as replacing a leaky flat roof with EPDM rubber, which should hopefully last a lot longer than the other options available. The installation work was first class, and as they finished here a few months ago (at the time of writing), I can say that the new roof has now endured multiple big storms (including Eunice, Feb 2022, the biggest in the area since 1987) without so much as a scratch. My energy consumption is also noticeably lower as they added a lot of extra insulation, which is a big positive given the current cost of gas!

Overall I am very happy with the work Wayne and his lads completed here. My only slight negative was that they were a little delayed in actually getting the work started, however that was mostly due to weather issues in the months before delaying their preceding jobs, which is totally understandable given it is such weather dependent work. Having said this, once the work got started here everything was completed promptly and efficiently, to the highest standard, and exactly as quoted.

To conclude, I would strongly recommend ACME Roofing, and they are well worth the wait if Wayne still has a bit of a lead time!

This is not your usual review, more of an insight into who is behind this company.
Our ferret got lost and we distributed flyers through letterboxes and shared posts on social media.
Wayne, the director of ACME, immediately took action and placed a ferret trap in his backyard. We had no knowledge of this and he didn’t tell anyone. We were searching the area some days later and met Wayne. He told us about the trap and allowed us to search his property. We also met his son, who is a really nice and helpful lad.
The reason I am putting all this here is to give anyone an insight into the people of this company. Wayne is an excellent and decent man and a great father. I have no doubt he carries his values in life onto his business as well.
He did not ask me to write a review, I just thought I would share my experience with him so people know when they contract ACME they will be dealing with kind and honest people.

PS: Unfortunately the ferret has never been found. :(

I am very grateful to Wayne at Acme Roofing. We required a minor repair to our roof and several neighbours recommended him. Im glad they did as Wayne was able to provide a fast, friendly and inexpensive repair. All in all superb customer service.

I called Wayne at ACME to come and help sort out leaks from a couple of Velux windows. After some short diagnostics and quick remediation, I believe the issue has been resolved and he didn't even charge for his time! Wayne and his team did a great job installing and brand new roof on a grade II listed building. From start to finish they were very professional dealing with neighbours and even liaising with the local conservation officer on approved tiles. Would recommend them if you are looking for a very professional service.

Wayne replaced the tiles on the whole roof of our detached house / garage and we are very happy with the work and the attention to detail. Wayne made sure that we were aware of what was being done throughout the duration of the works and explained everything. The team were friendly, polite and conscientious . I booked Wayne in to check out a potential repair on my roof. It turned out to be blocked leaves in the box guttering which he very kindly cleared and solved problem. He made no charge for taking the time out to help. Much appreciated and I will be sure to contact Wayne the next time I need roofing work.
