We have used Charlie on three different jobs in the last year so are very happy to recommend him. Great work ethic, competitive pricing and the work is always of a high standard. Charlie also went through and showed us what had been done when finished to make sure we were happy.

Called Charlie out from IDE Roofing to quote for clearing and sealing gutters on a large converted house and repairing a pitched tile roof on the garage block.
Price was competitive, Charlie was extremely quick and responsive to our queries. Work carried out professionally with nothing too much hassle even for extra requests on the day. Clean and tidy, site left clear.
Would highly recommend, will be calling Charlie back for any future work.

I had a 1930’s old slate roof which was constantly leaking and needing repairs. Charlie and his team did a complete re-roof after i had several quotes. What a brilliant job they did, completely professional and even did lots of extra jobs for no extra charge. Highly recommend this company.

Initial communication was great and work for the first 2 days was of good quality. I was asked to pay the balance at the end of day 2 which I did. I was promised Charlie would be back to finish the job (cleaning cement off the re-pointed path and adding additional sand to the jet-washed driveway). I chased for many weeks without success, finally leaving a Charlie with a text message including my feedback. Very disappointed.

Charlie is a complete scam artist. He came to complete works at my property on my roof and chimney joints which is still unfinished.
He left the job incomplete in July 2018 and after numerous calls , emails and texts this is still not resolved.
He will try and delay you taking legal action by argreeing to paying you back for the incomplete works by agreeing a portion of the price to compensate your additional costs to resolve the issues he leaves behind.
He has also confirmed in writing to me he has a gambling problem which I think he uses as emotional tactic to make you feel sorry for him.
No suprise he failed to pay me the money owed me which is constant behaviour from this complete scamming rogue trader.
I have reported this to the police and advise anyone thinking of using this company or Charlie to steer clear as you will be left with an incomplete job on your property/business which you will end up having to pay for twice to complete.

I called Charlie to re-point the chimney and fit a new cowl. He couldn't have been more helpful if he tried, came round the same day and offered a very fare price to complete the work, which he done the following day. He also re-pointed the ridge tiles and removed the moss, super job. I would recommend him anytime.

IDE was paid to replace a garage and conservatory roof at my mother's house. She is 89 years old and suffers from Alzheimers Disease. The result was worse than the roof replaced. There was water streaming into both areas every time it rained. IDE refused to take remedial action. I will need to arrange for another builder to finish the job. this was a very difficult and unpleasant experience for me.
