Dan and his assistant worked all day, in the rain, cleaning my bungalow roof. The roof was full of moss and the tiles were thought to have been a red or dark grey colour, they were in fact a pale yellow. I did feel sorry for them for tidying up 40 years of dirt.
They did mess up my neighbours windows with the dirty spray but power washed it away. The neighbours were informed about the possible mess before hand, so they were not worried or upset.
7 months later I had the roof coated in a dark terracotta colour again by Jake. The transformation was amazing and I am well impressed. They also replaced a few tiles where the corners had broken off since they had cleaned it.
If I had another roof to do, I would not hesitate to contact RoofMate again.
They were on time, very professional but friendly and cleared up everything after the job.

Beware - DO NOT USE - this company sprayed our house with dirt mould etc from our neighbours roof and did not wash it off properly leaving muddy streaks down our 20K newly rendered house. We are also concerned they have damaged the render long term by using a powerful hose when attempting to wash the dirt/mud off. They promised to clean up the damage and no response from the manager who we have been dealing with.

Excellent service from start to finish, we used RoofMate to clean our existing roof. Jake, Danny and the rest of the team were extremely polite, on time and highly professional. They left the roof and all surrounding areas of the house spotless.

After the cleaning / pressure washing they returned on a different day to spray the tiles a slate grey colour and I can honestly say it looks like a brand new roof.

I promised to update my review after 1 year ha I g given a 1 star review. I feel I can only give a 3 star review, as although rectified, my issue is/was it should not have needed to be rectified. At the time I was told that sheets would be put down but this was not the case. High pressure washing of my roof, which was highly contaminated with moss, caused an awful lot of debris around my house. My garage roof was covered in the detritus as was my partners car. There was also issue with a couple of tiles.
Yes, they did come back and I was given a £100 refund due to this. In my opinion, with better training, this would not have been a problem.

RoofMate have today cleaned and moss treated my very steep roof. The team of lads - Danny, Michael and Callum - were absolutely brilliant - prompt, professional and really got stuck in. My roof looks brilliant and they made sure everything was left clean and tidy and also did a final inspection walk round to make sure they had left everything perfect. Roofmate did an excellent job repairing the damage done by a local roofer. Jake promptly supplied a quote ans work started within a few days. The team arrived early, worked hard and were polite and helpful. They replaced all of the ridge tiles and the broken roof tile. They took care to correctly space and align the ridge tiles which now look great.. As the job was being finished Jake arrived to ensure that all was done to my satisfaction.
I would recommend Roofmate to anyone with a roof problem.

My roof hadn't been cleaned since the house was built in 1967. It's easy to forget that the roof needs to be maintained just as much as the rest of the house.

Brilliant. Great service provided and outstanding finish. The team of two arrived on time and got started immediately. All my pot plants and
outdoor furniture moved and sheets laid around the house and over my recently installed conservatory roof. The results of the pressure wash, undertaken top down was far better than I anticipated. 8 bags of moss were gathered from roof and gutters and although the mess was awful, they cleaned up incredibly well and left the patio and front garden better than when they arrived. As my house is not too old I didn't expect any roof tiles to be damaged, but they found 4 cracked or broken tiles which they replaced and also cleared out a blocked gutter down pipe. Everything was put back in place after the clean up. The guys were extremely friendly and professional, taking pride in their work and left me with what appears as a new roof.
