Warkton Roofing Co Ltd

I got Warkton roofing to come out and look at a leak in the Chimney. They came by and had a look and gave me a quote. This was around £200 which I was suppose was reasonable. I just wanted the leak fixed! They came by and did the repair and that was that. Anyhow a few months later I went up into the attic when it was raining and unfortunately the chimney was still leaking in the same place. Contacted Warkton and they came by and did some more work when I wasn't there for free which is fair. Of course this summer was dry and I only noticed a few weeks ago that the chimney was still leaking in the same place! Warkton came out again and I showed the roofer- who was really nice- a video of the leak. He went around the outside and had a look. He then said he believed it was potentially the rendering at the side of the house that was responsible for the leak and that Warkton did not do rendering. He said Warkton would let me know what the next step was. I then did not hear back from then. When I contacted them they said that it was not something they could do. I Asked for a refund and was told no on the basis that their work is not guaranteed and that they had carried out the work that I agreed to. This of course is correct- they did carry out the work I agreed to. However I only agreed to the work on the basis that they being the Roofing experts had correctly identified the source of the leak. In this case they did not. So I must give them a 1 star on the simple basis that I am £200 down and still have a leaky roof.

Warkton roofing came out to our property to install a new roof in which they did a great job and I have not got one thing to complain about in this respect.. although while they were doing this they dropped items accidentally from the roof which fell through our lean too with a plastic roof, subsequently breaking it, when I raised the concerns they replaced the panels which we were very happy with until a week later when the roof began to leak and bounce around as if unatatched which it had never done previously. After contacting the company I was told the man who did the work would be back to seal it so it wouldn't leak anymore, 5-6 weeks later and more phone calls to the company than I can count and still no repair has been done.
Fed up of being fobbed off by this company.. please get in contact with me if you wish to resolve the issue if not I stand by a one star review!

I am very grateful to Warkton Roofing for helping me out of my roofing crisis. From my initial phone call to Kelly in the office who arranged a prompt site visit by Ben and Alan, I was reassured to know they were big enough to get started quickly but small enough to care. When the roofing team arrived managed by Mark, they worked safe, fast, and above all, achieved a brilliant looking slate roof. This was confirmed by the building inspectors who noted the quality materials used and workmanship when signing the finished roof off.

Had a few problems with the guttering overflowing on our property after replacing the roof and guttering.
Warkton came back on a couple of occasions and eventually solved the problem after the flash flood of rain that occured recently.
Next doors down pipe was blocked and they said it was the neighbours fault and partly theirs due to some debris entering the down pipe.
They cleaned it all out and now after a good downpour of rain again the problem has been rectified so I will award 5 stars for their service..

A written apology was received from the company after i requested one.
Our landlord instructed the company to replace old roof tiles with new ones. Not a problem there & what appears to be a good job done. The problem lies withsome of the employees & the need to relieve themselves yes urinate in my garden! Twice this happened an embarrassment 1st then the 2nd time was anger & disgust. So the employees in question have been reprimanded & rightly so . This is my experience of this company & my review.

I messaged Warkton roofing and they came out the same day and carried out the repair there and then, even sorted another unrelated issue too :) really friendly, professional and explained everything they were going to do. Can’t recommend Mark and his colleague enough! Thank you!

We had our local housing association hire this company to replace several roofs in our street.
Doubts started to appear of the professionalism of this company while watching them when they were replacing a roof across our street.
One of the workers had a stealth saw which when wasn't being used to cut the tiles was being revved up continuously and held up and waved about like something out of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film..
We were then told by a neighbour that that had been to their house on several occasions as soon as they arrived in the mornings and asked for several of their cordless drill batteries to be charged.
What kind of company comes to work with uncharged power tools, surely they should have charged them as soon as they return to the workplace.
Not a good experience at all....

This company were hired by local housing association to complete roof work on bungalows for elderly during Easter holidays. They arrived 7.30am each morning to start work. In my opinion that's too early to be starting noisy work like that. On my 2 weeks holiday didn't really want to be woken every morning by the loud noise they were making. Very inconsiderate of us neighbours.
