This is the second job Lee has completed for us and I would not hesitate to use him for the next job or recommend him to others.

Two years ago we had the gutters and fascias at the rear of the house replaced and we have been very pleased with the work.

Contacted Lee last week for a quote to have the gutters and fascias replaced on the one side of the house as the old wooden fascias were rotten and the birds were trying to gain access through there to nest in the attic.

As well as the gutters and fascias, Lee recommended something that would help with drainage. A competitive quote and work completed quickly and as discussed. Lee is great at responding to messages and to keep you updated if he’s delayed.

Had a full roof replacement of Rosemary tiles.
15 companies turned down the job due to spray foam loft insulation over the entire attic.
Lee and his team took on the job which was long and time consuming.
The work was completed through COVID material delays and three major storms.
Work was professional, the team were very accommodating, coming the check on the property due to leaks in the storms before tiles were fitted and any other issues we raised. Any problems were dealt with as agreed and we are very happy with the final result and the quality and look of the job.

Recently had roof replacement completed by Lee and his team. Lee responded very promptly to provide a quote - the job was then planned within 2 weeks at our convenience. The team (mainly Luke and Nathan) completed the work- they were so friendly, courteous and efficient. Luke even came back to tidy up once the scaffolding was removed. Very impressed with the service from this local company.

We sold our house last August but because we had spray foam insulation it was deemed by HSBC's mortgage surveyors SDL Surveying based in Nottingham to be unmortgageable. I contacted almost every roofing company in Newport and Cardiff and no one wanted to remove a roof with spray foam at a reasonable rate.
I left a message for Lee who contacted me two weeks later (always good to know a business is really busy) and he came and gave me a reasonable quote knowing the foam was more difficult to remove.
We had to wait for the tiles to be delivered in March this year to replace both ours and our neighbours roof, and also our bay window, garage and extension rooves too.
Lee and his team were here a few weeks and it was a pleasure having them on site. They were professional, hard working and the quality of work was excellent. Lee himself quality checked the end result and the finishing touches ensuring the job was completed to high standard. I originally saw LJ Symonds around 2 years ago installing a roof in our local area and were impressed how professional they looked compared to the firm a neighbour had used. From the initial contact, right through to the installation, that professionalism shone through. The roof had been stripped, felted and battened, with all waste removed in day one. The installation was then completed over the next 3 days, would have been finished a day earlier if the weather had been kinder. All of Lee’s team were polite & courteous to both us and our neighbours, always taking time to answer any questions we had. We are very pleased with our new roof, best roof in our terrace by far.

I got in touch with Lee to give me a quote for replacing a flat roof at my home after seeing him recommended on a local Facebook group. Lee arranged to come and quote a few days later, he was professional, thorough and the quote was very reasonable.
