Recently bought an Abbey vogue GTS from Scott at Newport caravans. There was an intermittent problem with the fridge on our first trip and we were told to bring it back in which we did. Problem appears to have been fixed but have been told to contact them if there are any more problems. Very happy with the caravan and the customer service.

Family run business full up to the brim with good customer care. Staff extremely knowledgeable of all makes and models of caravans on market, even down to spare and replacement parts. Bought a caravan here a few years ago, would go there when we decide to upgrade.

Nice friendly family run business who take their time to show you different options within your budget range without any pressure selling.
The coffee shop is an additional bonus and gives you time to think about the type of caravan you may want to purchase.

Purchased a Hubi Solarhub 10k just now for an advertised on the item sticker price of £215. Paid at the till for this and some other items and noticed I'd been charged £240 for this item instead of £215.

I was told in no uncertain terms by the 'friendly' Assistant Retail Sales Manager Suzi Micallef that I could refund the whole thing and that she didn't have to sell it, she could merely remove it from the shelf.
This is after I've purchased it and have a contract with Newport Caravans.

"oh we've had a price rise'' was her answer and there's not a chance she was refunding the £25.

I was informed that ''she knew the law'' but unfortunately I also know the law and own two retail stores.

Reporting to Trading Standards as we speak.

I will point out the original salesperson who served me was lovely and a credit to the company.

Prompt assistance from knowledgeable staff. Good place to stock up kit for caravaneers and motor homers.

Great experience dealing with these people, from first viewing, to driving away with our perfect van, Scott ( our sales rep) couldn't be more helpful and informative, going the extra mile to ensure everything was as we requested. I definitely recommend you try this dealership.

Outstanding after sales support and customer care.
I purchased a second hand motorhome for the first time just over a year ago from here and it developed a number of small faults after heavy use throughout the year, the most noticeable of which involved the drop down bed. All faults were quickly addressed, without any quibbling over the guarantee, and some work I would normally expect to pay for was done free of charge. The drop down bed proved troublesome for many months due to the poor design in this particular model, but the manager and engineers at the body shop tried absolutely everything at the companies own expense to improve the mechanism. Excellent communication throughout and a continued determination to fix the problem. I recommend them very highly and if I ever change my van, they will be the first port of call without doubt.

Everything was completed as discussed prior to the handover. Will definitely recommend as by far the best dealership we have bought from.
