Just returned from a weekend at this caravan site. Did enjoy my stay. Staff were really nice. The only thing that let the site down was the hygiene as table's outside the club house were cleared of food and glasses but were not cleaned or rubbish picked up off the floor, which made the appearance unwelcoming by the early afternoon

Only nice thing about the site is the caravan, arcade In club house was a real let down most of the machines don’t work, when ordered food other people were getting there food before us when they ordered after. When complained in the reception regarding machines in the club house were told could get a refund for passes but won’t be allowed to use swimming pools. The shop it self had hardly any stock or things needed for everyday needs. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARK

Just got back yesterday from 4 nights break away with my partner and four kids.
We had a great time, wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were really friendly in reception, the restaurant and the shop.
The swimming pool is great, could do with a deep clean, but was good for families.
The caravan was lovely, well equipped and cosy. Plenty of activities and entertainment.
We were really lucky with the weather but it is generally warmer on the south east coast so a good location if you like beach days.
I'd highly recommend a trip into nearby Clacton... 12.80 return for 6 of us for an unlimited day ticket. Loads to do for kids and some lovely places to eat and drink. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Thanks for a great stay xxx

Absolutely shocking stay in a caravan that smelt of stale smoke and beer.
It was dirty and had a broken window that was held together with duct tape.
Widows in the living area was dirty with grease and hand prints all over.
Curtains were in a state and ripped.
Cooker was so dirty and rusty the markings on it had disappeared so we couldn’t tell what temperature the oven was at.
Laminate was peeling to the point it would cut your hand so we had to watch the toddlers didn’t get hurt.
Maintenance didn’t show up to remove the parts that were dangerous or do any repairs.
No knife to cut anything so I ended up cutting bread and meat with a cutlery knife.
Cooking trays and frying pans had left over food stuck to it.
No broom or hoover to at least keep to some kind of standards.
Shower didn’t drain so water was filling up in the try.
Holes and dents in the walls and paper peeling off.
Stains and burn holes in the seating area.
Duvet on one of the single beds had a hole in it.
Door lock was wobbly and was ready to fall off.
Was told I would get a £25 refund and I’m still waiting.
Outside the caravan areas stunk of weed and youngsters were running riot, very noisy till late.
Photos on the web site do not match the state of the caravan at all so definitely needs updating in which I’m sure no one would want to pay the ridiculous amount we ended up paying for the long weekend.
Absolutely shocking and couldn’t wait to get home, such a shame.
Only reason I gave the 1 star is because there is two exits from the site.

I couldn't fault the Caravan or entertainment.
But the club ladies loos are awful no hand soap or toilet roll and needs cleaning inside.
Outside is full of broken glass and rubbish by the children's play area and the multi sports area
Teenagers in droves smoking weed and drinking and loaud music by the pool area last night was very intimidating its a shame just a lovely place but needs security and a cleaner

Excellent stay here at the park, one small issue was the cooker in the caravan, the gas wouldn't stay on. However the staff were amazing and very friendly, massive shout out to JACK behind the bar, he is certainly an asset to the team! Reasonably good prices behind the bar too, will be back next year!

No electric for 13 hours currently. I have a 4 month old baby so you can imagine it’s very stressful.

Rang to ask when it may be resolved and was told someone would be coming soon. I asked for a time scale which she told me it’s not something she would know. I asked if she could call the warden and call me back as we all have no battery. She said yes… waited 45 minutes no call back called again and asked and was met with rudeness again. I ended the phone call with “thanks for calling me back and letting me know” she replied “welcome” and hung up.

This is no way to talk to any customer.
There was never a offer of any help or even any sorry.

Disgusting honestly save your money.

4 star rating.
Few problems but we identified them to the staff there instead of moaning on google reviews when we'd already left...
Always going to be people with different standards. This was perfectly adequate for a last minute get away.
3 nights over the recent Bank Holiday.
Evening entertainment good for children.
Bingo prizes for in house was disappointing. One winner of random toy/lava lamp/hair dryer, then one winner of a single cash prize. Prizes for tickets won in arcade very disappointing. The amount you spend winning a 7 year old blooming tickets. To get a star wars foam head and a few maoam packets. Needs reviewing for achievable ticket prices.
